By gift Im referring to tangible things, not the priceless gift of someone's love.
Me:
It is really hard to pick one here. So id choose two: a teddy bear from my aunt gifted to me at birth, a locket from my mom with my name initial on it.
Wedding ring from husband if marriage is in my destiny - I imagine it to be of emerald.
I'd like to give my nibling - a footprint and handprint canvas.

@Creamyyy The best gift I received was my grandads rosary beads and a bracelet that my nephew made me, that I wear everywhere 💜 I would love to receive chocolates, never enough chocolates to go round 😁 and I would give everyone little glass guardian angels to show they are never alone 💜🥰

Oh boo! I had one answer for all three, but I will respect the thread and stick to tangible things!
1) Best gift I received... this is really hard to pick. Is it something functional like my fridge? Or is it something more sentimental like the music box that plays one of my favourite songs? I'll go with the music box here.
2) Gift I'd like to receive... the best meal of my life. I may have already had it! Who knows.
3) Gift I'd like to give in the near future... I want to find a book for my niece that sparks wonder and joy. Something short, something sweet, something meaningful.
@cyanessence how old is your niece? Ive been checking out children's books for my niblings.
Would you share your 'one' answer for all three outside the tangible category ? - because now you made me so curious 🙂

Creamyyy, my niece recently turned 13. I gifted her a collection of three books, from my own childhood. Whimsical tales. I feel I could find something better though, so I will look.
1) Best gift I received: reason. Without it, nothing would make sense. One can play with it to create fantastical worlds.
2) Gift I'd like to receive: better reasoning. With a sharp mind, epiphanies arise. Short, sharp insights that collapse complexity into simplicity. Undeniable logic.
3) Gift I'd like to give in the near future: better reasoning for all. I think this is inevitable though. We do not all have to agree, but we can come to live according to well-thought truths and communicate them effectively so that we may co-exist more peacefully.

My favorite gift is a pen one of my caretakers gave me a long time ago. He is no longer in this world but I like remember him through it.
A gift I want is.. well I want a birthday card from someone who loves me without me having to beg for it.
A gift I want to give someone.. I know you said tangible but I can’t help but say having someone feel understood. I think I’m good at that.
@DansLeVide if you can make people feel understood, thats a great great gift (im currently suffering because i feel like no one can understand me rightly and yes its very painful to feel that ) ... youre gifted it shows ❤️

1# a tee shirt that was given to me on Father's Day years ago buy my eldest daughter who has Down syndrome. It looks like I'm wearing a tuxedo and tie. I wear it every Father's Day.
2# to knock one thing off my bucket list and go visit Richard Perneki's cabin in Alaska.
3# once my classic car is finished and road ready, to give my grandkids the ride of their life.

the best gift given to me is also hard, but honestly this alligator toy my ex boyfriend gave me before our relationship turned bad is a present that represents me in a way nothing else given ever has, and when i look at it i get to rejoice in how utterly amazing that is
a gift i want is a trip with my family and friends someday

the best gift I received in my life was a doll’s house in my childhood. And now in adulthood it was a pair of shoes like really expensive ones, i was eying them for a while but someone got me those for mu birthday and it was so cute. 😭
@starryPanda8666 I wanted a doll's house as well in childhood but never got it - i also wanted a happy home but like the doll's house that too has been an illusion. 🙂
