Next to water, tea is the cheapest beverage people can drink. Since ancient times, tea has been regarded as a health-promoting habit. Research in modern medicine provides a scientific basis for this belief.

My favorite tea and why: my favorite tea is probably vanilla chai because it's incredibly calming and it also brings me childhood nostalgia.

How often I drink tea and when I like to drink it: I drink tea at least once a week or sometimes two/three times a day depending on my mood. I usually like to drink it late afternoon and especially at night under a warm blanket as I watch a scary movie.

Do I know any other health benefits from drinking tea: I can't think of any at the moment (:

Have I tried mindful tea drinking: Can't say I have! <3

I love tea! I have so much it's too difficult to narrow it down to even a few. I do have a lot of rooibos blends as I tend to drink more in the evening than morning or early afternoon. I prefer teas to herbal infusions.

I mostly drink tea for hydration, but also use it to help clear congestion and it can ease a bit of the bronchospasms when my asthma is flared.

@globalBraid3744 did someone mention tea??? *runs to this thread*

1. What is your favorite tea these weeks and why?

- my all time favourite tea will always be herbal teas such as ginger, peppermint, chamomile, etc. They just make my body feel amazing.

2. How often do you drink tea? When do you like to drink it (e.g. morning, evening...)?

- i´d say usually two cups per day, the time can totally depend on what im doing and when.

3. Do you know of other health benefits that drinking tea provides?

- well, next to peppermint and chamomile tea, fennel tea and ginger tea can be amazing for gut issues! ginger tea is more for nausea, peppermint for bloating and fennel and chamomile for releasing any tension within your stomach!

4. Have you tried mindful tea drinking? If yes, how has it changed/shifted your mindset?

- still trying to work on that 😛

I love herbal teas as well, they have so many health benefits and many flavors to choose from! I did not know about all those benefits you mentioned. I will definitely try one of those as my stomach feels sick these days. It is good that you are already working on the mindful drinking of tea! I have come across this concept only recently as well and I am still exploring it myself.

My favorite tea lately is chamomile. I drink tea when I feel like it. Green tea is good for losing belly fat. I haven't tried mindful tea drinking yet, but I'll try it next time.
