Failing Forward Towards Success
American inventor Thomas Alva Edison developed many devices within the fields of electric power generation, mass communication, sound recording, and motion pictures. One of my favorite quotes from this inventor is, "I failed my way to success." Can you imagine if Thomas Edison, best known for contributing inventions such as the light bulb, the phonograph, the motion picture camera, as well as improving the telephone, would have given up after every "failure" or bump in the road?
Amazing creations and ideas manifest when we push past pressure towards our passions, and fail forward towards success. Remaining committed to the goal and contribution yet flexible in the approach.
What goal or idea are you committed to seeing come to life, no matter how many bumps in the road you may face on the way?
