Mental/Emotional Vigilance: Protecting Your Peace
Hello again my lovely Cupster friends ✨️☕️
No matter what we are feeling or going through in our life journeys, there's a place within us where peace resides. When feeling triggered, frustrated, or overwhelmed mentally/emotionally it could be impossible to believe that peace is still a possibility.
A favorite quote of mine from Dalai Lama that I'd love to share with you all is, "Do not let the behaviors of others destroy your inner peace".
While it's true to keep in mind that we all have our own internal and external battles we silently face, this quote is still important for our mental health and self care!
Below, I would love to share this wonderful article with you all about protecting your peace:

After reviewing this article and the suggested protection methods, think of your "inner peace" as a prized possession (which it is!). Next, I invite you to reflect on, answer or share your thoughts to the following questions:
1) What are some ways creative ways you plan to exercise Emotional or Mental vigilance to protect your peace? This can be a method from the article or your own method.
2) Recently, do you feel you have let the behaviors of others destroy your inner peace? If yes, are you receptive to learning and practicing methods to prevent this from repeating in your life?
3) What do you feel can be learned from the triggering behaviors within others?

Thank you for another wonderful post to this Community~
1) What are some ways creative ways you plan to exercise Emotional or Mental vigilance to protect your peace? This can be a method from the article or your own method....Honestly I take day by day, and just do whatever it is that I feel at "Peace" with. Whether its journaling, meditation, or something else.
2) Recently, do you feel you have let the behaviors of others destroy your inner peace? If yes, are you receptive to learning and practicing methods to prevent this from repeating in your life?... Honestly, I feel that I've done that for a very long time in my life. Not even knowingly or willingly. Its one of those things that just happen and before you know it, its already been done.... But, this past year I have changed that greatly. By dropping the things or distancing from those who no longer gave me peace. And I'm always receptive to anything that brings some peace to my life.
3) What do you feel can be learned from the triggering behaviors within others?.....Honestly, ... that its best (for me) to distance myself from them and the situations. That I can't change anyone else's behaviors but my own. So I work on myself and what's best for "me".
I don't have any peace, there's nothing to protect
