Deck of Cards Workout

What you need: A standard deck of playing cards

How it works:

  1. Assign an exercise to each suit:

    • ♥ Hearts = Squats

    • ♠ Spades = Push-ups

    • ♦ Diamonds = Jumping Jacks

    • ♣ Clubs = Sit-ups

  2. Shuffle the deck and draw a card. The number on the card determines how many reps you do!

    • Face cards (J, Q, K) = 10 reps

    • Aces = 15 reps

    • Jokers (optional) = 30-second plank or burpees

  3. Go through the whole deck or set a time limit (e.g., 10-15 minutes).

It’s a surprise-based workout, so you never know what’s next! You can also do it with friends and take turns drawing cards for an extra challenge.

Would you try it? 😆🔥

@ScorpiaD

Great option for doing something different & getting in activity (or even as a “partner based” workout)...

I would even suggest doing this type of workout with “Commercial breaks” to challenge oneself to get up from the couch and move. 💪🏼

@ScorpiaD

Love this idea although I doubt my daughter will feel the same. 😂

Could even use this idea with weights, only target one area. (arms, legs, chest, etc)

@ScorpiaD Ahhhh this is so creative and motivating!! I love incorporating gamification into my life to help make accomplishing goals even more fun! I would definitely give this a shot, but I'd tailor this to include movements I can perform in an apartment that are low-impact since I have neighbors that live on the floor below hahaha - no jumping jacks for me!
