Finding new ways to Get and Stay Motivated!
So hey everyone.... I bought this new Tracker, Its called the FITBIT (Blaze).... and I thought it was pretty amazing. I actually had bought it to track my sleep initially even thought I knew it included so much more!.... Its rather a "pricey" buy, however, it literally tracks everything I do. (Steps, sleep, activity, HeartRate, even the 'Floors" I climb!).....It tracks water intake, food intake....and so much more. The only thing It doesn't do is track "swimming".....
So I recently have begun swimming again since summer is back in FULL swing!.... I wanted a way to track that as well So...... several weeks after buying my 'Fitbit" I found the "Garmin VIVO"....And this tracks everything the FitBit tracks only its "Water Resistant" so I can now track my swimmng as well!..... I LOVE being able to look down at either watch and know what my goals are, and what I want them to be. Or where I "Need" to be! Its totally keeping me on track to getting those STEPS and that Activity in daily!....
One other NEW Passion I have found is dusting off my "Wii Fit' that i bought at least 2-3 years ago! lol..... I bought it with intentions of using it, but...well (you know how that goes) Well, I recently dusted it off, and got on again, I am now 'Stepping" more, Jogging more, Walking more....and really during all the time I would just be sitting around and not really doing much, I now use that as the opportunity to jump on my Wii Board!.... What really makes it even more fun, Is My Husband has now BOUGHT the SAME Fitbit and has now created an account on our Wii Fit as well! So....... this has definitely "Upped" our Fitness and Health Goals.... It has gotten us out of a "slump" due to the newly awakening of our goals and 'Friendly Competition" with one another!
(Grab a fitness tracker, grab a partner, grab a Wii Fit!!).... and "Up your game, fitness goals, or friendly competition as well

@PoliteOcean
The fitbit sounds awesome but unfortunately, my budget isn't broad enough but I also recently started using my wii again (especially the 'just sweat' section on Just Dance) and it's amazing, thanks for sharing! x
@IronicSarcasm
H ey there! Thanks for your response! I LOVE to dance...... and I have absolutely none of those dvds . .....I will definitely look into purchasing those. I have tried Just dance years ago when I started my fitness journey (My mom had it)..... and I loved it. I haven't tried any of the newer, recent versions. I love the Idea of a Just 'Sweat" section!!.....I have been using the basic "Wii game" that came with the Console, and have been doing alot of the 'Step Aerobics" as I like that as well.....But for me there really is nothing like dancing!....Omg, thank you so much for your input! You have just inspired me to buy NEW Fit games for my Wii... lol

@PoliteOcean Haha good! Wii Fit is also awesome!!!
You're welcome, have fun! x
@IronicSarcasm
After our chat in here about Just Dance, I have went out and bought the latest version as well... Boy does that have some "Challenging" moves!....lol... but, the songs are great so that makes it fun, even if I have to make up some of my own moves on a few parts! lol

I have been using them more and more over the last week and they do keep me sweating for sure.
@PoliteOcean
I'm glad!!! xx
@IronicSarcasm
I never thought of using wii with this purpose. I was just playing tennis on wii. That's a great idea. Thanks ;)
I always watch gym motivation videos on instagram and follow for girls. It motivates me a lot 😊
I always get motivated to finish a task or workout, whilst i am doing it. Whenever i am not motivated, i say to myself i start and do this for 5 minutes, when i still dont wanna do it. In all this time i only once didnt exercised
The weather is truly and should be the best motivator for everyone. A lovely walk outside is a great way to boost endorphins to make yourself feel better mind and body. Here in the US, fall is coming and the weather is changing. When you walk take a, look around and notice the changing colors, the temperature, even notice the sounds that sounds you...enjoy and breathe in life...
@AliNurse
Agreed. I have been walking daily outside since the summer started. My neighborhood is very "Hilly" and you can burn so many calories going up and down those hills.... Even for those that may not like the hills, stick with the straighter paths and take a shorter walk. Start small....I started out just going straight up and down my road of One mile for about 25 minutes, and then gradually built up to the WHOLE neighborhood in an Hour completing 2 1/2 miles...... I'm more of a Dancer, I don't care to just "walk" much, but climbing those hills for me has gave me a great calorie burn than some of the Hard core dancing that I have done or taught in my classes. And yes, with the weather changing, that cooler air, and the changing colors of the leaves will be really nice to see. Especially if you are able to grab a partner. friend, relative and share that walk with!
I will exercise at least one hour a day. Each day, I listen to music and dance.
Sounds great, PoliteOcean!
I also have a Wii Fit, and find some of the exercises to be fun and effective (step, boxing).
