3 bad advices about SUGAR

Bad advice # 1: Beware of fruit is full of sugar
Facts:
- Fructose is sugar from fruits
- In a fruit, the sugar is a prisoner of the fibers
- It's great because you do not want to absorb too quickly the fructose
- The fibers slows digestion and sugar is released slowly over several hours.
- Eat as much fruits as you want.
- If you want scrap your system, simply release sugar before swallowing. For example with a juicer.
- Without fiber, the fructose is absorbed instantly and turns into big fat without even decrease your appetite.
- It's not about sugar that must be wary, but the free sugar. Do not releases your sugar!

Bad advice # 2: Choose well your sugar!
Facts:
- There is no good or bad sugar.
- Free sugar is sugar free.
- Companies can say what they want on their sugar. It's marketing.
- No free sugar is better than another!
- All is in the amount that you consume, regardless what sugar it is.

Bad advice # 3: You just have to cut the dessert, it's easy!
Facts:
- Processed food almost all contain sugar, it is to improve the taste.
- Food labels do not always allow to know if there is added sugar.
- It's never clear if this is the sugar found naturally in foods or added sugar.
- If you see a form of sugar in the ingredients list and it should not be there, well ...
- If consumers refuse the added sugar, the industry will have to adjust.


Sugar is EVERYWHERE. What to do?
- The goal is not to completely stop to consume sugar.
- Calculate your daily intake, just for the fun: Sugar free (ex. Juice, yogurt, coffee, honey ....) + added sugar (in all processed foods, if you manage to find it ...) = Should be less than 25g per day
