Healthy Snacks
I'm about to elope with Nutella so would like some suggestions about eating healthier.
What are some of your favourite healthy and budget friendly snacks that taste delicious whilst keeping that blood sugar from RIOTING?
Also you will get ALL THE BONUS POINTS for suggesting healthy and delicious snacks that don't use up every dish in the house whilst making them.
I'm thinking things like apple and peanut butter, maybe a smoothie, tips and tricks like meal prep hacks that don't require a chef's kitchen and a THOUSAND technical techniques because your girl is working with a hot plate, toaster oven, crock without a lid and the counter space equivalent of a postage stamp so take it easy.

Hahaha "elope with nutella" made me chuckle lol, that's so me also, could I join y'all please?! 🤧
It's so great you're looking for healthy snacking options. I like having fruits, and adding some cream to it (maybe not as healthy always but makes for a yum dessert).
There's oatmeal pancakes as a healthier variant, I feel? :O and baked chips, nachos, dry fruits/ nuts and seeds, sandwichesss and lots of egg recipes too can be made healthy!
Any you've tried or you'd like to try? 😮

Yes fruit with cream is so good. And probably more healthy than ice cream I think?
I have tried oatmeal pancakes and banana pancakes. And variations likes buckwheat pancakes.
I had a mandolin slicer and would try make my own baked chips, or cut sweet potatoes into fries and bake them.
Love a good egg sandwich-I used to live off those with some earl grey tea.
Trail mix is good to have around...can sprinkle on a salad or oatmeal.
Sandwiches yes. Have tried many different kinds
I make smoothies almost daily with bananas and strawberries, milk, ice and whey protein. I put it all in a blender and drink away afterwards. They are so yummy. I also cook a sweet potato now and then for dinner. I am trying to get back to my healthier ways of eating again.
Partially thawed fruit has been something I've been into for a while now, more in the summer but I didn't stop eating it in the winter.
It can be blended to make a sorbet type consistency, but it's not necessary.
Lately I've been enjoy sour mixed berries - sour cherries, cranberries and blueberries tossed into club soda or a lightly flavoured pop. The berries add flavour to the drink, if the drink has a bit of flavouring it can balance the tartness of the berries and I eat the berries using a spoon.
I've recently been having apples and grapes as a healthy snack, along with small cubes of cheese! ☺️

Nuts (almonds, cashews etc), cheese, fruit, veggies and hummus, roasted chickpeas, dried/freeze dried fruit (without sugar added, juice with chia seeds. Hope this helps!
