Once Upon a Time, in a Land Far, Far Away, I Took Something Personally

Hello! How are you? Struggling to restrain yourself from going full Grinch exorcist Joker this holiday season? Me too! Twinsies 🌺🎵🎄🧁☺️😞

Also valid because certain things like disrespect, perciverating and boredom strikes at the core of being and causes unbelievable suffering and downright negative feelings like anxiety, disgust and judgement leaving us a short distance from spewing that toxicity onto others and into our actions, then our habits, character and ultimately destiny. 😱

So how to stop 🛑 or slow 🦥 getting sucked into black holes over and over again?

👻 AAA!!! 👻

AKA: Awareness, Acceptance and Action

Stuff

Telling Someone They Hurt or Disrespected You

  • Start with why what you want to say is important.
  • Briefly describe what happened that felt hurtful or disrespectful.
  • Say how their behavior made you feel—the impact.
  • Ask for what you need going forward.
  • End by reinforcing why you are making this request.

Feel free to share any examples of this below - both times where this might have or has worked or where it may not or hasn't.
