The benefits of going to school.

February 28th, 2023

Writing a text about the benefits of going to school can be quite a daunting task. After all, there are so many different aspects to consider, from social benefits to academic ones. However, it can be a highly rewarding experience, as it can give students a better understanding of the world around them.

One of the most significant benefits of attending school is the social aspect. In school, students are exposed to a wide range of different people and cultures, giving them an opportunity to develop relationships with their peers and make important connections. Additionally, school provides students with an environment where they can learn important skills such as communication, problem-solving, and collaboration.

School can also be especially beneficial for academic success. It provides students with access to qualified teachers and resources such as textbooks, computers, and other materials, which can be essential for their learning and development. Moreover, school can offer students the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports teams, art or music classes, or clubs. These activities can help students to sharpen their skills and stay engaged with their studies.

Finally, school can also help students to develop important life skills such as time management, organization, and responsibility. Students are expected to complete assignments, attend classes, and arrive on time, which can help them to form good habits and prepare them for future roles.

Overall, attending school can be incredibly beneficial for students, providing them with the opportunity to learn, make meaningful connections, and develop important life skills.

@thisisanthony I'm confused by this. Why have you, as a listener, posted it? Are you seeking support?

You do know about unschooling, deschooling and self-directed education, don't you?

@RarelyCharlie Hello Charlie, the truth is that I am also somewhat confused by your comment. Listeners can publish posts about the topics that are allowed by the community rules. At no time in the entire text does it say in any way that I am seeking support. I'm sorry I can't understand your comment but I don't know where you get that if I'm looking at support and why I'm posting this article.

@thisisanthony Well, as I said, I was confused 😕 Thank you for answering one of my three questions by clarifying that you are not seeking support in this thread.

@RarelyCharlie I think I answered your questions with my answer.

As a listener I can post this type of posts.

I don't understand your last question, and I didn't mention in my post. So why did you ask me that?

Greetings, Anthony.

My text is talking of benefits and positive aspects, but it could be a good idea for future forum posts.

Thank you for the suggestion.

@thisisanthony

while some points here are very valid I also want to add if you aren’t in school or school is hard due to learning differences, bullying, lack of friends, or other events that make it not fun it’s hard to see past it. And honestly school can become your own personal torture sessions sometimes. I’ve felt it and gone through it. If you can keep going that’s okay if you can’t and feel it’s hard that’s also okay. Your grades not need to always be good when it’s the difference between that and making yourself worse. Keep your head up doesn’t always matter, I’m here with you and feel all of you, so weather school is easy or hard and seems like it will never end you are valid in that emotion. And I give my heart out to all of you in those situations.

the way you directed the comment was “but” and so on trying to say that you were jsut trying to do something and I didn’t have to say whatever. Of course I could be reading you wrong but okay I’ll take it with a grain of salt 😊

i do not think it was “my imagination” rather I think it was wondered prolly and came across poorly to me which I misinterpreted. Do not say I was imanging things when it would be a misunderstanding on both ends and the way you put it does seem that way which is aid was fine and it wasn’t, thanks 😊😊😊

@Astraeuss

Hello, in this case you have made a subjective interpretation of my comment. The way in which I said it did not intend to say anything other than what it said, at no time did it have a second intention. If you thought it was something else, I'm really sorry but I can't do anything to change your thoughts, as I said before, the comment had no ulterior motives or any special way. I don't think it's worth continuing to talk about the same thing, so I would like to know if you have understood everything with this message.

Greetings, Anthony.

@thisisanthony

i have over and over said that I understand your comment and that it was a bad way of praying and I interpreted wrong, but to not call it my imagination, you are the one making this into something when I full on said I was had the wrong interpretation and you phrased wrong, but seeing you do not care to listen to me and me saying that hat over and over I don’t think it would be in good faith to continue this either, take care 😊

@Astraeuss Another thing that is also subjective and solely up to you is to say that I am not listening to you and that I do not care what you are saying. Of course I care, otherwise I would not have responded to the comments directly. I just want everything to be alright.

I totally agree Astra, school tends to be very "one size fits all" . I totally get it. With having learning disabilities myself school is really hard, and sometimes it truly does more harm than good on individuals. Not everyone thrives in a school environment, we all have different ways we do things ♡

Thanks for your post Anthony, It's awesome you're keen to post on the forums !

@thisisanthony

Yess! The post is positive which is awesome! A lot of teenagers don't like school and just see the negatives so it's really good to bring some light into the school situation. But totally glad you're understanding of the points that for some people it's just unbearable. But for people who thrive in school and are able to attend, showing these points iss brilliant. Keep up the good work Anthony, you're doing so fabulous and it's lovely to see you posting on forums

@thisisanthony anthony i'm so happy that somebody is talking about benifits rather than the negative points. when i was a kid i resented schools but growing up came with the realisation that i am who i am because of my school only. schooling was the best part of my life 🌷💗 (celebrated last day of school last month only)
