insomnia and sleep pills do not work

How all.
I'm a Russian girl. I have a psychiatric diagnose sth like schizoaffective disorder and severe chronical full insomnia as its symptom. Sleeping medicines do not help me. Our docs say they cannot help. Where should I seek for help?
