FRIDAY NOVEMBER 25th - Weekly Check-In
HEY EVERYONE!
Today is Friday November 25TH... (The day after THanksgiving Feasts!) Its ONE month until the next Holiday... (Christmas)!...
How have you all done this week?! How did you all do yesterday on Thanksgiving? Did you stay on track, did you get off course a little? How do you feel about the holiday, or the past week in general!? LET US KNOW!
I felt I started off pretty good.... Kept on track all week, since I knew I might indulge a little more for Thanksgiving... Got "double" steps in daily.....Kept up with Plenty of Water...
On Thanksgiving....We ate dinner a little later in the day, so I managed to get up, and have a light breakfast and get my execises in before going to my moms for dinner.
I kept getting up every hour for about 10 Minutes, (being reminded by my FITBIT)! and managed to get some steps in for each hour.... I did enjoy myself and my moms cooking.....I managed to portion and stick to a serving for each thing I took.
I also managed to get in ALL of my 10, 000 steps today. So Thankful that I was able to get up and get started on those before leaving...but I at least managed to reach 11, 000 before the night was through even though i normally do much more. But I was just so Thankful to get to spend the day with my family and loved ones......And stay on track the best that I could.
@PoliteOcean
it was an okay week. I messed up a lot this week... in the food department... i really love food.
@HalliwellSister
Well its ok to "mess" up Halli, and its ok to "like food".... we just got to set our "priorities" on what it is we want the most. Do we want to be able to overcome our challenges with food, or do you want "food" to "rule" over you? Its ok to indulge, and its ok to enjoy. You just need to ask yourself what are your goals? What is it that you want to accomplish? Is what your eating or putting into your body helping you to reach those goals and accomplishments? If not, what is it that you can work on to help you overcome those challenges or challenging moments? What better choices can you make?
Of course if you are "Happy" with yourself, or within yourself, or with how you feel "overall", then theres no reason to change anything right?!
@PoliteOcean
thats all true. I really want to lose weight tho so my back will hurt less. :/
@PoliteOcean I didn't really stay on track last night :( But today is a new day!
@PoliteOcean I hardly exercised all week and have not eaten so well, but I have also not been depressed all week! I spent a lovely day with my younger son on Wed after picking him up from college, and a lovely day yesterday with my kids and husband. I will try to eat better today. Not sure how much exercise I will get, but have plans to do a long hike tomorrow with my older son.
It was an OK week. The only day that was off too much was Thursday, but I expected and allowed that. And I didn't go totally crazy.
So overall, I'm pleased with how the week went.
