WEEKLY CHECK-IN MAY 6TH~
Hey Everyone! WELCOME TO THE MONTH OF MAY!
How has everyone been doing this past week?.....How have you been feeling?
Whats new? Do you have any new goals?
What have you been doing or working on?
What have been your highs or lows?
We want to hear from YOU!!
I got my neck MRI results this week. My two herniated discs have degenerated further and I have arthritis in my neck. Going to try a steroid injection in a few weeks. I tried that once before and it didn't help, but it's a place to start. I am still exercising regularly, just not very vigorously. My meals are good but I'm eating a lot of candy. I'm just marking time until I can get my shot and hopefully work off some of this extra weight.

Sad keep up the great work..I know My mom deals with alot of that as well..its been a long road for her too. And she gets really frustrated that she can't workout the way she "needs to, or would like to".. so she just concentrates on her food as well. Just doing that she has lost like 12 pounds. Its great you are staying on track with your meals... Perhaps also make some "healthy treats" ? To keep on hand if you get the "sweet tooth"?...I hear alot of good things about "Drizzle Me Skinny". If you 've never looked there?!....
My mom will be trying injections as well....Good luck to you and prayerfully those will work for you to allow you to get back on track the way you'd like.
I've been feeling busy! Not busy compared to a typical day for a healthy person, but certainly for me recently.
The weather has been warm and there were 2 days where it was actually fairly hot. I've been outside much more and have been moving just getting my plants in and out to harden them off. Working out has paid off, I didn't have soreness carrying around my outdoor watering cans like I typically do when I first start.
My sister is off work on disability which will switch into maternity leave. I expect I will be seeing her much more often along with my nephew and eventually nephew #2! I spent yesterday afternoon with her family. My nephew wears down my energy but he does it in such a fun way.
I think my vitamin B12 levels are better. I am noticing a bit of a difference. I'm still fatigued and I'm probably pushing my limits a bit. The extent to which I feel malaise has reduced. It still hits, but for shorter periods. I will also just feel really wiped out at times without that general sick feeling also hitting hard which is nice.
I have been getting some sore throats which disappear quickly. I'm not sure if they are mini attacks or what. It wouldn't surprise me if they were little attacks as in the last week the amount of time I have spent just sitting/lying while not sleeping has reduced greatly. I'm trying to keep an eye on those and keep at appropriate pacing levels.

Wow Affy! You have been busy!!
Such an encouraging and positive post... Sounds like things have been going much better for you in ways. That is great for you! And so glad to hear that you are having fun with your sister and nephew. Sometimes just being around others can do so much for our wellbeing....... And also good to hear that the Vit. B has been doing its job for you. This is all really great for you! Also awesome job on the planting/gardening... that can really be a "workout" on its own so I hear.. I can't keep a plant alive to save my own life! lol....But I hear it can really do wonders! Keep us informed on your continued progress! ![]()
