**What was the BEST part of this week for you?!
The best part of this week for me was probably buying this pretty comb on Etsy :) I know it doesn't sound like a lot but I feel like there's been so much going on that I haven't been able to treat myself to anything nice in a while, so buying it really made my week. It also gives me something to look forward to haha.

Sometimes when I get stressed out, I like to crochet. Right now I'm actually working on one of those long huggable pillows so hopefully I'll be done with that soon and have another stress reliever. The most relaxing thing I've done this week was hang with by bunnies. I usually let them out in the garden after dinner to play around and eat our veggies, and it's really relaxing to just watch them do their cute little bunny things.
**If you could share ONE tip that helped you to either stay on track, or get back on track, during the summer and/or these times of Covid....What would it be?
At times like these, it's so important to stay in touch with your friends and family so you can check up on them and check up on yourself at the same time. The pandemic has been overwhelming for everyone with all of these lifestyle changes and we need to make sure that we're here for each other so that we can get through it.
**What have been your "Highlights" Or "Struggles" over this past week?
Senior year will be starting soon, so I've been dealing with all the stress of college being just around the corner. I've been really stressed out with my college appplications, especially my essays since I'm going to need to be writing several. It's been difficult to come up with any topics that really speak to me. I've been studying for the SAT for a while and I just got word yesterday that it got cancelled at my testing site, so that's kind of a bummer. Hopefully, I'll be able to find another testing opportunity soon. It's just hard to think that these college apps are the very thing I've been working for all of these years and the application process is finally starting.
**What are your weekend plans?!
My plans are to catch up on some of my summer homework since I've kinda been pushing that aside for a while. I'm currently reading the Kite Runner now and it's pretty interesting so far. I might bake some muffins too
@cattreenuh
Hey there!
How nice to be able to treat ourselves and buy something nice for ourselves that makes us feel good!... No matter how big or small!...
How cool that you crochet!.. My mom is really great at doing things like that and really crafty. It is something that has totally skipped me, because all of my moms sisters do it too... But I could just never seem to "get it" and pick it up!.. lol...And how awesome that you have "bunnies'. How fun is that!....I can only imagine how incredibly cute they are.
I totally agree that family should stick together as well as friends and that we all need to be there for one another and check in with each other. Just to make sure that things are going ok and that everyone is doing ok. These are certainly strange times that we are in currently. Unlike any other that any of us have been in I'm sure?!...
How exciting for you that you will be starting your senior year!.. (Despite some of the stressors that is!)... These are certainly going to be busy times for you ahead as you get ready to look toward making a future for yourself. You will get through it all for sure! You can do it. You'll look back on one day and realize how fast it all went by!
Thank you so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things are going for you! Please continue to keep us up to date on things ahead and how everything is going for you in your senior year. And how everything is going with the college process. We are here for you! And will support you in any way that we can!
**Hey Everyone~ How has your week been?! I've been better.
**What was the BEST part of this week for you?! To be honest, I'm fighting depression and it's been hard to find anything good. (Maybe talkING to my best friend)
** With so much going on these past few months, and things starting to open back up.. in addition to "School" starting for some recently, ...What is One way that you are able to relax or find the time for peace and calm when stressors arise? Whats the Most relaxing thing that you did this past week? Listen to music
**If you could share ONE tip that helped you to either stay on track, or get back on track, during the summer and/or these times of Covid....What would it be? Make lists and give yourself rewards for things done
**What have been your "Highlights" Or "Struggles" over this past week? I have no motivation . . .I'm just blah and meh.
**What are your weekend plans?! If I get motivated cleaning my space
**What would "YOU" like to talk about or share with about your Week?! WE want to hear from "YOU"~
any tip's on getting motivated or pumped out of the depression
@Rebekahwriter13
Hey there! Its so great to see you checking in on a regular basis again... Sorry that your week wasn't the best, but its great that you found a positive in talking to your best friend.
Making lists and giving yourself rewards are great ways to stay on track or help yourself get back on track! Thank you for sharing that tip with everyone.
Sorry to hear that you are lacking motivation lately... I know how challenging and difficult that can be to feel that way. I'm sure many of us here can certainly relate to that feeling at one time or another. What are some things in the past that helped to motivate you? Perhaps making a list of those things and looking over them can help you find some motivation again moving forward?!
I see you said if you found the motivation to clean your space that you might do that.... Sometimes for me, even when I don't feel like it, I find that If I actually clean the space "first", then it helps to calm me, and clear my headspace to see a clean area around me. Which in turn helps me to get more motivated to do more!..... Also other ways that I've gotten motivated aside from cleaning up the personal space around me, is finding groups that help to motivate and inspire me to do the things that I want to do. Like if I don't feel like exercising, or if I fall behind on the goals that I made for myself, then I turn to a group on social media that inspires me to get back up and get myself in gear!... Sometimes you just have to find 'like-minded" people that share your same interests and goals, to put you in a better head-space to just do it!
Thank you so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things are continuing to go for you. Its been great to see you checking in more!
@PoliteOcean
My biggest problem is I get stuck or addicted to the media. It distracts me from what I need to do.
I need to figure out rewards and little goals to make bigger goals happen.
