**This past week was pretty hectic getting ready for the Christmas holiday...... I didn't really stay on plan. I just tried to go with the flow of each day as it came in order to keep calm and get things done since there was so much of it. But the week went really well overall and was really festive.

**We spent Christmas Eve at my house with my family. And had such a great time. My Son stayed the night with us and we stayed up watching a bunch of Christmas movies and talking afterwards which is always a holiday tradition. I really enjoy those times since he's grown and they dont' happen very often..... We got up and opened our presents in the morning and then went over to my Moms afterwards and spent Christmas Day there with them for dinner. And then opened More presents! lol...But...it was the absolute best day of this year.

**Today has been a pretty lazy day so far, I stayed up late, and slept in late and haven't been very productive at all so far. And, now facing all the "after-Christmas Clean-up". Looking forward to New Years Eve as we are all going to get together again at my moms to ring in the NEW YEAR!~ Hope you enjoyed your Christmas Holiday as well~

ENJOY THE WEEKEND AND HAPPY NEW YEAR AHEAD!~

Hey Everyone~ How have you been doing!?

Hello :) I have been up and down lately, my mood keeps changing...

This is our VERY LAST Check-in for the Month of DECEMBER "AND" For 2020!..... What has been the MOST Positive thing that happened for you over the course of this year?! What is the BIGGEST Thing you learned this year?

over the course of this year... definitely was connecting more to my friend and being with my family. the biggest thing I learned was that I am non binary ^^;

What are you looking forward to the MOST in the NEW YEAR Ahead for 2021?!

Nothing in particular, I just hope I will be able to handle myself better. :)

How would you SUM up 2020 for yourself? What lessons learned or healthy habits can you move or take forward with you into 2021 ?!

for me 2020 could be summed up as just chaotic disaster. I can focus more on my emotional wellbeing and develop healthier eating habits to match my exercises... ;-;

How was your Christmas Holiday yesterday?! What did you do to celebrate?! What gifts did you receive or give?! What made the day the most special for you?

it was nice, I wished merry christmas to some friends, I don't celebrate christmas so.... christmas had a fun wholesome vibe so it was a nice day :)

How will you be spending your NEW YEARS EVE?! What are your plans for this day?!

I think I will give a gift or rest a bit. the day has just ended so not much. but tomorrow I am planning to go back on track with my eating and emotional health along with my exercises! :3

What have been your "Highlights or Struggles" this past week? How did you work through the Struggles?

My struggles has been my eating definitely and my self esteem. I am still trying to work through them... :(

What would "YOU" like to talk about or share with us about your Week?! WE want to hear from "YOU"~

this weekend and the past week were so hard to get by. I had thoughts and urges I never thoughts would be back and it was so hard and exhausting. I am at my last straw here. I don't have the motivation to keep doing all of this, but I am not happy like this so I push and force myself. I am SO tired. :(

Hey there!

Its understandable that you are feeling "up and down" or that your "mood keeps changing".. Its been a challenging year for many of us mentally and emotionally. Its great that despite this, that you are connecting more with your friend and spending time with your family. That is important to keep connections going!

Its good that you are focusing more on your emotional wellbeing and developing healthier eating habits. Those are good things to focus on as we move into a new year ahead.

Its great that even though you don't technically celebrate Christmas, that you were able to have a nice day overall... I feel that Christmas is really about whats in our hearts in the way that we celebrate with others. Its a feeling that we can carry and spread to others. One of Joy. And its great that you had a Nice day!

Its great that you are making plans to get "Back on Track" with things! And that despite the struggles, that you are still trying to work through them. Good For you! Keep up the great work!

Sorry to hear that the past few weekends have been difficult for you to get through and that you are dealing with thoughts and urges. Its challenging to not have the motivating there as well. Its good that you are trying to do your best to "push through" them. Just know that we are here to help and support you in any way that we can! We are here for you!

Thank you so much for checking in this week and letting us know how you've been doing. Please continue to keep us up to date on how things are going for you.

someone seems excited 😏

What is the BIGGEST Thing you learned this year?
To make round Chapatis 🍪 😅

**What are you looking forward to the MOST in the NEW YEAR Ahead for 2021?!
To be the best year yet 🤩

**How would you SUM up 2020 for yourself? What lessons learned or healthy habits can you move or take forward with you into 2021 ?!
Gym is not necessary to stay fit. As they say, fitness is 70% diet, 20% Exercise and 10% Rest

**How was your Christmas Holiday yesterday?! What did you do to celebrate?! What gifts did you receive or give?! What made the day the most special for you?
I celebrated with friends. Received virtual gifts on cups and felt nice nevertheless. 🧡

**How will you be spending your NEW YEARS EVE?! What are your plans for this day?!
Will be spending it with cousins.

**What would "YOU" like to talk about or share with us about your Week?! WE want to hear from "YOU"~yes
It's important to feel best first before taking action that involves someone other than you.

Yes, Hopefully it will be a great and productive year ahead!...

I am slowly learning in my years of teaching Fitness classes and working with others (as well as myself) that its true, you don't need a "gym" setting to workout or feel good. Diet is a HUGE factor. And really just any "Activity" , getting up and moving & staying active is important. Proper Rest is a big deal for sure. I don't think some realize just how important getting proper rest is for their goals.

Celebrating with friends and virtural gifts on 7cups is nice. I have a really cool virtual gift that someone sent and made for me like 5yrs ago when I first started here.......Spending New Years with cousins/family sounds like a good time ahead. Any specific plans for this day?

It sounds like you are saying that "We need to be feeling good over-all ourselves, in order to be good and be able to help others"? If thats the case then yes, I can agree with that. Its difficult to support others and be there and be good for others, if we ourselves are not at or feeling our best.

Heya ! This past week has been alright, it’s always a bit difficult being back at my mother’s place but for now it’s going rather okay. Christmas was also decent, we always spend it with my mother’s family who includes only my grandfather and an aunt, they’re both really annoying (even upsetting) so it was actually a good thing that thanks to restrictions the meal didn’t last as long as it used to!

I can’t really think of one most positive thing that happened this year, many positive things happened though but not one specific big one. The biggest thing I learned though is how much I need sports: thanks to working out I haven’t had any bad breakdown anymore, I’m also feeling a little less stressed and more able to do things that I don’t know how to do. I still have many things I want to learn in this coming year. I also really hope this new year ahead will bring breakthrough(s) work-wise! I also think 2020 helped me focus on taking care of myself and setting boundaries, it’s still a work-in-progress but I’m hoping to get there!

Happy holidays, take care!

Hey there Waves!

So glad to hear that despite everything, that you were able to make it through your family Christmas dinner! lol... I know how challenging of a family situation you have as stated by you before. So its good for you that there was No major drama or challenges!

Its good that even though you can't choose one positive of the past year, that you have a revelation that Sports is something that has kept you going! I feel that same way in that I know Group Fitness or Zumba or an activity of sorts is something that I 'need' in my life. And its good that you are feeling a little lessed stressed.

I hope that you find the upcoming year to be a great one for you in that it will provide the breakthroughs that you are looking for! Its great for you that you were able to find "focus" this past year in "taking care of yourself and setting boundaries"! That is really important for sure! Progess not perfection!

Thank you so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things are going for you as well letting us know how this past year has gone for you! Its surely been a learning experience for many of us. And its great that you have realized some revelations for yourself this year. Happy New Year ahead to you! Take care!

It was tough :p There were a lot of racist comments that actually shocked me…

It’s really good to figure out the things you need in your life, it’s actually kinda like establishing a relationship!

Thank you as always for being so encouraging and taking the time to answer! Happy new year ahead to you too and all the best! <3

* What has been the MOST Positive thing that happened for you over the course of this year?! What is the BIGGEST Thing you learned this year? - I would say getting my health back. The biggest thing I learned is how to be assertive and stand my ground.

**What are you looking forward to the MOST in the NEW YEAR Ahead for 2021?! - I am intrigued to see what happens and how everything will play out.

**How would you SUM up 2020 for yourself? What lessons learned or healthy habits can you move or take forward with you into 2021 ?! - 2020 was one heck of a year but I didn't find it that bad. I was already kinda in lockdown because of my health. I learned to put myself first, and do the things that I need to do to keep going. I slowed down on drinking and have felt better.

**How was your Christmas Holiday yesterday?! What did you do to celebrate?! What gifts did you receive or give?! What made the day the most special for you? - Christmas was good. Christmas eve we spent it with the in-laws and extanged gifts and has snack. Then on Christmas my Bf and I spent it with my parents. We had a nice dinner and just relaxed. I got some gift cards, socks, a blanket, stuff for my craft, bath bombs and face masks.

**How will you be spending your NEW YEARS EVE?! What are your plans for this day?! - I don't have any plans. I doubt I will be doing anything other then maybe sleeping.

**What have been your "Highlights or Struggles" this past week? How did you work through the Struggles? - A highlight for me was spending Christmas with my parents. A struggle has been I've been getting intrustive thoughts and have been having a hard time dealing with them.

I hope you had a great Christmas and I wish you all the best!

Hey there!

Its great for you that you have gotten your health back this past year. Health surely is everything..... In addition learning to be assertive and stand your ground are some great revelations for yourself.

I would certainly have to agree with you on the coming year ahead. In being interested and intrigued to see how everything continues to go and plays out with everything that has gone on this past year.

I too agree, that 2020 really wasn't that bad in terms of everything that happened around us. But it did have its ups and downs and its own challenges. Its really great for you that despite everything, that you have learned to put yourself "first". I can agree to that. Because if we don't, then who else will?! You know?!...And its great that you are feeling better after slowing down on drinking. Good for you. Keep up the great work!

Sounds like you had quite the lovely Christmas... With family and lots of great gifts! Looks like we got some similar things as far as gifts. I got some giftcards, a blanket and some socks as well! Family, dinner and exchanging gifts is a great way to spend Christmas day.

I'm sorry to hear that you have been having "intrusive thoughts". I know how difficult and challenging that can be. And how hard it can be to cope and deal when they do happen. If this has happened before, what things in the past have you found that might've helped you through them? I would start there first and refer back to those coping mechanisms to help you to continue to push past or through them. Just know that we are here for you at 7cups to help you in any way that we can!

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your Christmas Holiday and many best wishes for a Happy New Year ahead! Thank you so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things are continuing to go for you.

**Hey Everyone~ How have you been doing!?

**This is our VERY LAST Check-in for the Month of DECEMBER "AND" For 2020!..... What has been the MOST Positive thing that happened for you over the course of this year?! What is the BIGGEST Thing you learned this year? The most positive thing that happened for me this year was getting in touch with other volunteers at a charity that I worked at for about a month before I got a job. The biggest thing I learned was that I'm either an ambivert or actually more likely an extrovert. I wither when I can't get in contact with people on a regular basis.

**What are you looking forward to the MOST in the NEW YEAR Ahead for 2021?! I am looking forward to getting at least one of my credit cards paid off totally, losing a lot of weight, bulding my emergency reserve back up, being kinder to myself, sleeping more, and letting go of the guilt I feel when I relax.

**How would you SUM up 2020 for yourself? What lessons learned or healthy habits can you move or take forward with you into 2021 ?! I need to get out of the house, see people, and exercise on a regular basis.

**How was your Christmas Holiday yesterday?! What did you do to celebrate?! What gifts did you receive or give?! What made the day the most special for you? My holiday was non-climactic. I didn't get to see my parents over video like we did for Thanksgiving. My sister gave me a bracelet that is cute. My parents gave me money for a new pair of work shoes and a Starbucks card. Actually the day after Christamas was more special to me. I got to talk to my parents longer and got to listent to a Christmas Spotify jazz playlist over headphones and after I was reasonably sure no one would year. Played it low over my computer laptop speakers.

**How will you be spending your NEW YEARS EVE?! What are your plans for this day?! I work new years, but it will be kind of cool because I've scheduled a cab to take me and pick me up since the buses aren't running that day. I'll probably review and revise the goals in the different areas of my life that I've made last year. Revamp them and see if I think they're still relevant to what I want to do. And I'll get ready for the next week's work.

**What have been your "Highlights or Struggles" this past week? How did you work through the Struggles?

I've been struggling wth getting enough sleep and it really caught up with me today. I thought I was compensating okay but I did something really weird with the trash and had to apologize to my sister and make with the excuses and explanations. Also sometimes its hard to get down and see what I need to at the stations at work. Twice I haven't seen receipt tape that's been there and called my supervisor for more. Not great since I want this job to last at least a year so it looks better on my resume.

@AvidGamer293

Hey there!

Its great that you were able to have some many positives over this past year of 2020 dealing with your volunteer and charity work... and that you were able to find some great "revelations" about yourself!

I absolutely LOVE the goals that you are setting for yourself in the new year ahead! In fact, I share some of these same goals with you. In fact, actually share most of them! Thats a great start! And you can do it!

Needing to get out of the house, see ppl on a regular basis, and exerise on a regular basis!.. These are some more great revelations that we both share!.. Sounds like we have alot in common, as well maybe I'm realizing I'm not much of the "Introvert" that I thought I was after reading this! lol

How nice for you that despite Christmas Day itself wasn't as climactic as you thought, that you were able to find lots of Joy in the day after! And sounds like you received some really nice gifts from your family. And its great that you were able to spend time chatting with your parents and that you have a good relationship with them.

Its good that you are going to spend some time re-evaluating your goals for the New Year ahead.. (Yet another thing we have in common!).... Its funny how goals can change. Or what we once thought was so important or condusive to our lives or lifestyles, may actually take a different direction when we really have time to think about them and or even Revamp them in some way. Hopefully you will figure it all out for yourself. I'm still trying to do that as well.

Sorry to hear that you have been having difficulties and struggles with your sleep. I know how challenging that can be and how important it is to get good rest. Hopefully that will change for you or that you will be able to figure out a way to make things better in that area of your life. I know that is something I need to work on and put more effort into as well. But it can be done. Perhaps write out some goals for yourself regarding getting a better nights rest? Writing down whats keeping you from getting better rest. And then evaluate what can be done to change those things. Good Luck!

Thanks for checking in this week and letting us know how you are doing! And Happy New Year ahead!
