**This past week has gone by incredibly fast... yet again. Not much different, kept up with everything I set out to do this past week (Instructing classes, workouts, eating ,etc...)... But I did manage to meet my sleep goal this past week FOUR NIGHTS so far!! Yay!... So that was "one" significant goal for me ... AND... All my results from my annual Physcial came back great! So YAY again! ...

**My POUND class seems to be taking off and doing well so far, the numbers this past week far exceeded my expectations.... however school will be starting back up here again soon where I live... just a few weeks a way. And its kind of "concerning" for lack of better term. Because I know that once school starts back up, peoples schedules change, the traffic changes, etc..etc... So I'm keeping the faith that it will not affect classes much.

**I learned to make a TWO-Ingredient dough Pizza Crust last week, using "Greek Yogurt and Self Rising Flour only/ or Whole Wheat Flour" (either works)... And made an AWESOME pizza for me and my husband!.. So, I bought the ingredients to do it again this weekend, only experimenting more with it perhaps and trying some other things. (You can make anything with it, bagels, breads, etc... anything that you can make with dough, you can make with this.

**Last, I have actually been "resting" my body more this past week, Only doing required Classes that I teach, and regular things around the house to get my steps in and activity in.....No walks this week through the neighborhood, but only to the Lake with my Puppy (his favorite place).... I swam a few days here and there and it was so nice. I felt really great physically and emotionally.... and I plan to continue this throughout the weekend as well... Making this a "Self-Care" weekend, Just me and the Dog (and the 2-ingredient dough Pizza again) since the hubby will be out of town.cheeky

HOPE EVERYONE ELSE HAS ENJOYED THE WEEK~yes

Heya! Oh wow, congratulations on reaching your sleep goal for more than half the week! (Always sounds greater in my opinion when you put it that way :p) Woohoo for the physical results! You're doing great!

Wow, sounds like people love your classes more than you thought :D I really do hope the numbers don't drop too significantly in the upcoming weeks. Kepe up the good work you do in teaching classes! Ooh, where did you find the recipe for the pizza crust?! And how do you make pizza healthier... :p I'm very interested! I want to get more into cooking and healthy food, so maybe the pizza is where I'll start...

Self-care week for the win! That's awesome you're taking time to rest and really take care of your body well. Know your limits and just relaxing them sometimes can feel so good. Is the weather still nice and hot? Swimming sounds so relaxing...!!! Have fun with your dog this weekend! Hope your week goes well xx

@rebecca947

Hey Rebecca!

I actually found the Dough recipe on Weight Watchers... I am an online member there and often go there daily for motivation and support from the community there for my continued Healthy Living journey and goals.... and its quite the "Hit" there!.. lol.. Everyone there uses it for EVERYTHING!.. I finally got around to it myself and got on the "band-wagon" so to speak... I've only made the pizza so far, haven't done much else with it.. But others are making pretzels, bagels, breads, rolls, cheesy-bread etc..etc.... Bascially its 1/2 cup of Self Rising Flour (or wheat flour, or flour of your choice) and FAGE brand Greek yogurt 1/2 cup........Then mold the two together! Thats it.. It can be messy and you have to get used to doing it... but it works and makes a great recipe for many things down the line. And you can season the dough to whatever you like it to.. I've seen people season it and make cinnamon rolls etc..etc... pots pies, apple pies etc..etc.... Pretty basic, no added chemicals etc... pretty healthy.

And also, yes the weather is really great here right now... Sunny, Hot, upper 80's-90's Farenheit .... So yes, its lovely. I was just thinking today how I wish that I could live somewhere where it was like this "Year round".... I might miss the cooler weather at Christmas time, but I think I could take the chance on that! lol...

@rebecca947

Hey Rebecca! Actually yes its a VERY SIMPLE process to make the dough, but yes, can be a "little" messy... no more than making anything else... Spraying your hands with a little bit of non-stick cooking spray helps.. And by using the brand FAGE yogurt, the texture of that particular yogurt is WAAAYYY better than other brands. So it makes the process a little easier.

I thought it would be a little weird too, but honestly, it really does turn out to be "Dough"! Who knew?!! lol... And by flavoring it and adding your own seasonings to it, you can basically make any creation with it that you desire!...

Also, It would be kind of interested to have a "Sunny" and warm Christmas.... I think about 2 years ago we had a very warm Christmas here that I could remember... it was in the 70's (F)...Very warm and mild... Didnt feel like Christmas weather at all..... Even after the many years of living in the South USA, I am still used to growing up in the NORTH USA and thinking of all those Beautiful, White, Snowy Christmases that I shared with my family... (Thats about the only time I like and don't mind snow)!!! lol

@PoliteOcean I'm interesting in trying out the bread recipe. I don't think we get Fage here though. Any info for finding a good brand substitution? A traditional greek yogurt (ie liquid drained) or is it made more cheaply? If so, it's it on the thicker side or runnier side?

@AffyAvo

Hey Affy!...

You can really use any Greek Nonfat yogurt... in "equal" parts (yogurt to flour ratio).... The recipe calls for 1/2 cup of each... but I've seen 3/4's to One cup... and then I would assume make as needed.....

And at first, I couldnt find FAGE brand, and bought regular store (Walmart) Brand.... and it seemed so runny, and the following week, I found and Bought the FAGE! HUUGGGEEEE difference!.... The FAGE is nice and thick! It has more "molding" to it.. not runny at all....So yes, if you can find something along those lines, then use that type.

And then of course, they say to "spray" your hands with non-stick cooking spray, use a "floured" surface etc.. to help with any sticking... It can be a little messy of course, but once you get it "molded" to where you want it, its great. Season as desired, add whatever... I've been making deep dish "veggie" pizzas.... I haven't made the pretzels, rolls, bagels etc.. that everyone else seems to be making, I've seen cheesy breads made with it too.. I think What i see made with it the MOST are the bagels and "Regular" pizzas.. but I was craving a 'Deep dish" which I never get or buy, so I tried it in a pie pan and it worked!...People also put "add-ins" like Jalapenos and all kinds of other stuff to the dough itself.... Really whatever you can make with dough, this is helpful.. and if you are a "good cook" and know what you are doing, (Which I'm not the greatest cook by ANY means! lol).... I'm sure you will be able to "tweak" the recipe and find what works for you!

GOOD LUCK!

@PoliteOcean

Hiya, Ocean! :D this week went ok- it was quite a busy week! Watched the World Cup finals live, but for us it was on Monday morning 3am. In the end, I only got around 3 hours sleep! Then Monday night, I went out with relatives for dinner and they also went to karaoke afterwards. We left much later than I expected (I was told we'd leave at 10pm, which means 11pm or so we get back home), but we ended up leaving at 1am!! Thankfully the traffic was non-existent lol so we came home in 45mins. Record time in my books. But then the next day I had to wake up super early, so I only had around 3 hours sleep again... grumpy me! I only got 5 hours sleep between Tuesday and Wednesday, because I did this course at uni that taught us suicide intervention skills and how to have that chat with a person at-risk. It was a 2 day course, and I got 5 hours sleep again Wednesday night. But finally, after 3 days, I managed to get a good sleep in! I reckon I slept for a solid 10-12 hours that day...

As for exercise, I haven't managed to get back on track yet, but I went for a good run and walk with the dog yesterday. It was nice leaving the house, though it took a lot of willpower on my behalf because it's winter and cold! I'm planning on walking him again today maybe, and tomorrow with the family. It should be a good, long walk! As for eating wise, I've been OK with it, haven't had anything very unhealthy recently. I'm hoping to eat even healthier. Oh, I had quinoa for the first time! It was... interesting :p it might take me a few tries to actually enjoy it haha but it wasn't horrible surprisingly. I can't imagine beetroot and nuts to be a good mix either, but it was very tasty. I might make that as a side dish or something soon to complement some other dish I'd make. I definitely need to improve my water intake still- I'm always thirsty but too lazy to grab a cup or a bottle.

Hmm, as for next week, I might get back into exercising- even for a day. Usually, when I start one day, the next day I do it again and the cycle starts up. I'm hoping that it's the same now when I try to do that again. I do miss exercising and the satisfaction i feel once I complete it for the day, but I just need that kick to get started again. I am feeling motivated, so hopefully, that can stay for a while longer until I decide to wake up and do it.

I hope you'll have a good week! xx

@rebecca947

Hey Rebecca!

Wow, sounds like you started off with a very busy week and hardly any sleep!.... frown Yikes!.. That tends to make me so sluggish and grumpy that its hard to do much when that happens...But its great that you finally managed to get caught up on that and get yourself some sleep again! Our bodies certainly need that sleep!

World cup, dinner with relatives, Karaoke!! (one of my faves!) all sounds pretty exciting for you!.... So did you get up and sing at Karaoke?!!! If so what song did you sing?!!!.... I always sing old 80's Pop-Songs! lol... My favorites. (I'm an oldie) lol...Its been a long time though since I've gone.. I'm sure you had a blast!

It sounds like even though you haven't been on track as well as you'd like, it sounds like you are still doing a pretty good job at it though!... And getting out for a walk with the dog (IN the WINTER! None-the-less!) is great for You and for Him!.. Thats awesome that you would do that... I don't like being out in that type of weather if I don't have to be! lol.... So great job!.... And sounds like the foods you are eating are still "Healthier Choices"! So great job!. yes (Oh and btw, I actually saw what you meant by an Acai Bowl!!!)..Oh my goodness, they DO look Amazing! I am going to have to find some place that makes those around here and try one!!

I have never tried Quinoa myself, I heard its alot like brown rice in its own way.... I'm not against trying it, I've really just never had much of an opportunity to try it or make it....I try to be choosy about my carbs as well lol....especially being on Weight Watchers.. I only get so many points a day to keep me on track and from over-doing it, so it helps me to choose things I like wisely lol....But how awesome for you that you are expanding yourself at trying all these newer and healthier things that you haven't tried before!! Keep up the awesome work on that!

I wish you the best on being able to create the type of workout schedule next week that you would would like for yourself.... Just when you are trying to pick it up a bit, I am trying to slow mine down a bit, and figure things out hahah.......Oh this "wacky" world of Healthy Living! cheeky

I wish you an amazing week ahead! Thanks again so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things are going for you!.. Always great to hear from you!

@PoliteOcean

Yeah, let's say I wasn't at my happiest those few days...! Especially at the karaoke night- I was surrounded by a few drunk relatives, and one of them in particular is a really quiet, doesn't-say-much type of uncle. But when he's drunk... he couldn't stop repeating the same phrases over and over again hahaha and I didn't sing any songs! But when I do, I usually just sing pop songs that I find on the list they have at the place haha what are your favourite 80s songs? Can't guarantee that I've heard them, but when I was younger, my sister always played old school music in her room so I might know a few :p

Thanks! Went to walk him again today with our family, and it was nice and sunny! I watched a few AFL games that were happening which was nice. There were quite a few people sitting on the benches too watching. Yeah, I don't quite enjoy cold weather either, but the sun coming out always makes it feel better haha yessss! Acai bowls look gorgeous and taste so good... I hope you can find a place near you! Maybe even make one... might have to be my goal :D yeah, if quinoa is like brown rice, I'm sure then that it'll take me a few tries to actually appreciate the flavour of it :p ahh, I've always wondered how Weight Watchers worked! So what is the point system, if you don't mind me asking?

Haha I love how we can all relate though and be of support to one another regardless of where we're at. What an awesome community we have here :) thank you- I hope you find what works for you soon! <3

@rebecca947

I LOVE almost ALL 80's music! lol..... That is My Era for sure!... So its very hard to choose a song when I go to Karaoke... but... what I do know is the "range" that I am able to sing in, so I choose songs that I know won't take my Voice too high. Because I know I cannot sing in a high range... So I mostly stick to alot of "Fun" stuff when I do.... One song I like in particular if you've ever heard of it is called "WHIP IT" By a group called "DEVO"... LOL.... Look it up... its an interesting song lol... But I always have loads of fun singing it!...

And I know what you mean about being around someone who has had a little too much to drink... That always brings the party down for me... Its no fun being around that type of person. And everyone is different in the way they "hold their liquor" lol.... There are mean ones, fun ones, or talkative ones..... I don't like any of it! lol.... Sorry you had to deal with that.

And Weight Watchers, they assign points to all foods.... and of course the Higher content of Saturated Fat and Sugars and Carbs in a food the Higher in points they will be....But the lower in Sugar, Calories and Good amount of protein the food will be "Lower" in points.....

So basically Fruits and Most Veggies are all Zero points, because they want you to gravitate toward eating the Healthy Options.... And things like Tuna and Skinless Chicken, and Eggs are all Zero points......Then things like Candy Bars, and Soda etc... are high in points of course...... But basically you can eat/have whatever you wish, but you only have a certain amount of points that you can eat in a day, so it causes you to "choose wisely" where you will spend your points!... you get my drift~wink

I had an ok week. I did not get much exercise. I was figuring to get a lot of exercise this coming week. We are headed out to our vacation in the mountains tomorrow. Instead of just my husband and kids as usual, it is more extended family with my mom, sisters, brother-in-law, aunt, and my kids. (My mom has a big birthday later this year and she wanted a whole family trip to celebrate but we had to do it in summer.) This is a mixture sure to have awkwardness and uncomfortableness, mostly between my husband and my family, plus me and my son's wife (though she will only be there two days). But, I figured we'll be out hiking and kayaking a lot so I'll get exercise and it will be smaller groups at a time. So now I see it will be thunderstorming almost every day and we will be stuck in the cabin together a lot. We are bringing lots of games but I need lots of outdoor time too! It's also usually the only time I kayak all year so I'll be disappointed not to get much or any of that done. I can do that in the rain, but not thunderstorms. I was already anxious about the trip, now more so. I am happy that my older son will be coming for most of the week. We weren't sure if he could come at all due to his work schedule, so that is one big bonus.

Hey there Sad!...

Thanks fo stopping in to check in with us this week before heading out on your family get-away!.... Sorry to hear that you are feeling anxious about how things are going to go with this whole trip.... But I think its pretty amazing that you ALL are managing to set aside things and get together to celebrate your Mom's birthday (even if a little early)... That is really great that everyone of you can come together like this for her.

I do hope that the weather holds out for you and that you are able to get in everything that you are going up there to do... I know how much you enjoy being in the outdoors. Its quite obvious you are a "campy-wilderness" type person lol.. I would walk "one" trail in the woods and get lost at the drop of a dime! lolol....... I have NO outdoor experience when it comes to Hiking (in the real woods) , climbing, kayaking etc...etc... Heck I'd probably tip the whole thing over in the water! lolol..... Oh my.. What a sight. I do hope that you manage to enjoy the entire trip no matter what the weather holds for you out there!.. Just use that time to enjoy your kids, your family, and your Mom!... YOU DESERVE THAT!!...

Please let us know how everything went for you!.. I wishing for you an Amazing trip!.. Thank you so much for checking in this week and keeping us up-to-date with everything!..

This week has been pretty tough. I started out with a well laid out plan to start "clean eating" to address my depression which I believe is being exacerbated by my poor diet choices (which is being brought on by my depression - crazy bad cycle). I have learned in the last few weeks that I may be able to experience more positive mood and perhaps decrease the depression and anxiety by addressing inflammation in my body and brain by eating a more plant based diet. Not vegan or vegatarian - but by decreaseing my intake of unhealthy fats and carbs and removing what little food I eat with processed sugars and adding in more dark leafy greens, veggies, fruits and beans. I went to the store last Sunday and got everything I needed for 1 week of clean eating. I only managed to make it happen for about 2 of the last 5 days. I am not giving up though. I plan to begin again tomorrow 1/22/18. My biggest challenge is obsessing about and overthinging everything; the phytates (antinutrients) in beans, seeds, legumes and brown rice; the goitrogenic proprperties (bad for thyroid) of spinach, kale, swiss chard, broccoli & cauliflower; whether or not what im eating is organic, non gmo, in a bpa free container, etc. I am going to work on being less worrisome this week and put my trust in God to provide the approprite food sources and to help me make wise choices. If I dont do every meal and snack perfectly, Im going to start over the next snack or meal and remember that even one small positive change in my thinking and my diet is something and will help me become less stressed, depressed and I will feel a little better. Thanks for having this forum available.

Hi there Estompe! Thank you so much for sharing and posting today... I LOVE this post!...

You are doing an AMAZING job here at starting this journey for yourself..You DON'T have to be perfect!.. You are 'Trying" to do whats best for yourself and thats what is important!... Sounds like you have looked into alot of things, and done some research for yourself on what you want vs. what you don't want...

And you clearly have a GREAT mind-set here that if at first you don't succeed, then you try and try again!.. And thats really all any of us can do on this healthy living journey... There will be some challenges here and there, but you can get past them and continue on and moving forward one small step at a time each day!

And it looks like you are starting at an "AMAZING" place and that is by placing your trust and faith in the LORD above as you stated!.. Thats where my faith lies as well... You can do this! We can do this!... We are all here for one another to support each other.

Thank you so much for sharing this week! Please continue to check back and let us know how things are going for you!.... I'm Ocean the Community Mentor here and I'd love to continue to hear about your journey.

>How have you been doing this week?

It's been a roller coaster. I spent most of it extremely down and miserable, then had a bit of a breakdown and oddly felt better. I also found 7 Cups and have high hopes for changing a few things in my life.

>What are your plans for the weekend ahead?

1. crochet a cover for my journal

2. send in a physics assignment

3. go to church and maybe talk to the girl I like there :)

>What do you hope to get accomplished this weekend or the coming week ahead?

Well, I feel like I already answered this by accident. My goal for the coming week, though, is to make a journal entry every day and make note of how that practice affects me.

>What have been your "highlights" over this past week?

Recently, I've had a tense and awkward relationship with a close friend of mine. This week, we've been talking like usual and actually enjoying each others' company again :)

>What things would you like to talk about or share with us?

Part of living more healthily, for me, will have to be maintaining a cleaner house. I'm really not looking forward to that as it's always been very messy and I don't have basic housekeeping skills. I doubt I could keep a respectable house for myself, let alone my family too (I am just a kid, but no one else is doing anything really).

Hi there Beach! Welcome to the Healthy Living Subcom and to 7cups! I am Ocean, the Community Mentor here....

Sorry to hear that you had a challenging week and a meltdown as well.. but so glad to hear that you are doing better! We're so glad that you found 7cups, and we are certainly here to continue to support you in any way that we can!

Its awesome that you have made some plans for yourself in the week ahead. Sounds like you have a lot of great plans here for yourself. Keeping a journal is a wonderful idea... and can maybe help you to keep things more on track and balanced in your life.... Give you time to reflect on things and put things into perspective!

Its great that you have also managed to develop your friendship again and enjoying their company... Its good to have friends in our life that we can manage to share and be close with.

And I wish you much luck on getting everything accomplished with your goals of having a cleaner house!...I know thats not always an easy thing to do when you live with others, but if you start 'small' and start by throwing away things you don't need or want, and then start to manage the things and space that you now have left by organizing them the way you would like them... Having a "cleaner" space around us, is Proven to help us Mentally and emotionally! And when we feel better Mentally and emotionally , we manage to feel better physically as well!.. It all goes together hand in hand.

Thank you so much for checking in this week to let us know how you've been doing!.. Please continue to check back and let us know how things have been going for you! We would love to hear how your progress is with everything, no matter how big or small! We are here to support you!

I feel like I'm back to my usual in terms of routine. My strength and endurance is still a bit low, it will take a bit to get it back to where it was not so long ago.

Just taking it easy this weekend, it's pretty cool had some hail 2 days in a row. We're doing more cooking instead and running the dryer since we have had heat warnings this past week. Used up the last of a roasted pasta sauce I froze last year from my garden tomatoes, eagerly waiting for this years to start ripening! Even the cherries ones are still totally green.

I think the door knocking I was doing has come to an end, the person who is with the city is done with her time with our community and our community really doesn't have enough volunteers to keep it going. So this was likely the last week of walking for that, although I likely will still get out of the house a few times for some other options that we can do.

Hey Affy!

Its great to hear that things are starting to come together for you again, and that you are getting back into what you feel is a more normal routine for yourself.

Its good that you are taking it easy this week... (I feel the same way, have not done much at all the past 2 days).... So I can relate to that in some ways. Sounds like you are also doing things that bring you enjoyment and thats great!

So how does that make you feel that your time is about up with the door knocking? Did you feel like the walking for it helped you, or helped you in keeping up with activity? Or do you feel it tapped into any of your energy or otherwise?

Its great that you still have made plans though to continue to get out for other options and keeping it moving the best your energy and time allows you too. Please check back and let us know how that is going for you!

Thanks so much for checking in again this week and letting us know how things are going for you! So glad to see! Take care~

@PoliteOcean The walking was going fairly well, in terms of not having attacks or anything. It often fell on the same day as a suitable exercise class though, so doing both in the same day would wipe me out once I got home and the next day. Sometimes I would plan my exercise day for a different day of the week, although lately that hasn't been possible. I also made sure not to throw in all 3 in a week - zumba, exercise class at the gym and the walking.

Most of the walking days were quite hot, only one cold day. So I was seeing it as a way to gently loosen my muscles again if it had been a gym day. I have found my feet are not too happy with both though. As the weather gets colder I really doubt I could manage both. The walking isn't too extensive - on days where I don't exercise, with the door knocking I was getting about 6500 steps including the whole day (I have my fit bit set to 6000 although I pay little attention to it other than noticing when it vibrates).

I will be able to swap in other things - go for a walk around a store instead of online shopping, or the whole mall, my rower which has sat fairly unused for the summer, etc. Basically doing some of the things I like to but pass on due to lack of energy.

Signing up for something does encourage me to push a little bit more though, I have the times where I'm tired but it's oh well I said I would go and I don't think I'm going to get really sick, just exhausted out after. So I guess I can focus on doing that a little more without a pre-signup option, especially as playdates with nephews would also do the same thing and those aren't so common anymore either.

I've been trying to "cram" in all the swimming I can get in lately! .... Good to hear that you are feeling good and the season is keeping things "in check" for you. I personally Love that part about the summer.... Feeling Good, and Low anxiety!

Thanks for checking in this week ! Always good to see you post! Continue with the great work that you are doing!

Went to Zumba Gold for the first time in a long time. My feet were basically screaming at me the entire time sad

I think I might give a class a try without my orthotics and see how that goes. Sometimes though they lead to pain while doing something but prevent further damage overall so I need to factor in how things work out not just during but after too.

Ugh pain and even simple choreography do not go well together, I found I was getting on the wrong foot or repeating things when we were onto a different move because I would take a moment and try to focus on forcing my foot muscles to relax. Oh well, no harm in doing the wrong steps.

The class was good otherwise, I just wish I could have had more fun but the pain was a problem.

Hey Affy Its awesome to hear that you went back and gave some Zumba Gold a try.. Of all the Zumba classes/specialties I taught for Zumba, "Gold" has honestly been my most favorite to teach.

I find it is so much easier on the body as a 'Whole" in comparison to the other formats.. (Except Aqua Zumba) but I don't get to be in the Pool for that one ~ I taught on deck.

Sorry to hear that you were having pain and issues with your foot... I do hope that whatever is going on there, doesn't derail you from continuing to try again, or hold you back from doing what you like to do.

It was funny because I taught my Gold class this morning, and I think ALL of us (except for one lady) had NO energy ... we were all slacking a little today.. All we could do was laugh the whole way through class and say how challenging physically it is some days to get out there and even just do "Gold"...We all felt so sluggish... I'm half their ages and then some. So it was quite a morning we all had together as a class~

I'm glad that you thought it was a "GOOD" class despite the challenges that you had to deal with. Hopefully the next time it will be a MUCH better experience for you! I always love to hear other's Zumba experiences (Good or Not)~.... I hope that you are feeling better with the foot issue and overall. Stay in touch and let me know how things continue with it, as well as the classes!

@PoliteOcean It's plantar fasciitis, have had that since I was a pretty young kid, didn't get diagnosed until my teens though. While some things help with it, I have an extra bone in each foot, so I'm not going to be one of those stories where it gets 'cured' with enough effort. The closest to a cure I have found was when I quit doing jazz tap and ballet haha It was BAD during my teen years and I think some of the swelling then was HAE as well, as it was pretty extreme at times.

Why it was so bad this week in class I don't know. Maybe just the lack of doing much with my orthotics other than walking? My feet didn't seem any worse a few hours after/the next day so that's a win.

@AffyAvo

ahhh.. I see.

I had that as well... surely not a great feeling thats for sure.

I had to get about 3 shots over the course of a few months. Bought myself inserts and a Night boot (that my Podiatrist wouldnt prescribe so I bought one on my own)!... I wore it for about 4 months every night . All of that seemed to help.

Im sure mine was brought on by endless amounts of Regular Zumba and the jumping!.... (another reason I prefer Gold!)...

Have you tried wearing a boot at night and while at home? I know you have other factors that consider on as well but perhaps it could offer a bit of relief? Keep that bottom part of your foot stretched out for a longer period of time? Just a thought since I dont fully know all things you have tried

@PoliteOcean I saw a specialist for it and it wasn't something he recommended. I don't remember the reasoning as it was a long time ago. My problem goes beyond just my feet, it's my tendons all the way from toes to hips are super tight. He was shocked at the flexibility I had then, felt a bit vindicated at just how hard I seemed to have to work for it when it came to dance and gymnastics compared to others. So that might have been the issue - stretching out the one part at night might just cause the rest of it to tighten more when it's done for a long time in a passive way like that.

Please feel free to reachout any time if you have any questions or need some guidance. We are here for you.

And best of luck to you on getting started! Just remember to start "Small"... don't do too many things at once or it may make you feel "over-whelmed" with everything... Perhaps you could start by taking it day by day..... A little walk here and there for a few minutes and then gradually building up to more time as you go.... Maybe start out 1-2 days a week for 5-10 minutes, and then maybe the following week , try 2-3 days at 10-15 minutes... Or really whatever works for you and you feel you can handle...

You can also start by looking at the things you eat and drink.... Maybe swapping some sweets for fruits that you might like... Or swapping out Calorie Beverages, with water?...

Just small things like that each day, can lead you on the Road to Succeed! Best of luck to you, thank you for checking in! And please check back in our weekly thread to let us know how things are going for you!!
