**This past week went really great. Starting off with a long Memorial Day weekend. Did alot of relaxing. And just enjoying extra time with loved ones. Got in a great walk around a huge lake at a new walk trail. One lap around is "One Mile'... So of course we did several to start off Memorial Day morning with my "Vet". Then we came home afterwards and "fired up the grill" with lots of tasty stuff......I just simply allowed myself to relax and enjoy that time.

**Got back on track the day after on Tuesday. Back to group fitness classes, and also taught my own. Got in LOTS of water and just kept the week moving....... The weather has continued to be really nice although it dipped into the lower 80's again (late spring weather), so the water wasn't warm enough for me to get swim time in this week or to work out my Knee. So just went back to the local track instead.

**This weekend hubby will be out of town, so,... intentions are to do my usual of getting up early Sat. morning and hit a Group fitness class. It simply helps to start my weekend off on the right track. Its supposed to rain here though later in the day, so I simply intend to get some good house-work and cleaning done. And then relax in the evening with some good TV time, work on some choreo for classes, and some self-care/pampering time.

ENJOY THE WEEKEND AHEAD~

*** Hey everyone~ How have you been this week? Tired, overwhelmed, and frustrated. . . I also had a very busy, hetic, and stressful week. . . I had errands on top of my painful-ish carpal tunnel test, my brother had heart issues with an eye infection and went to the ER and I had to contact my dad. (The long story short with my dad, I do not feel I do enough to make him proud, so I avoid him. Then he give me guilt trips over why we haven't communicated. My last phone also was very outdated and would drop calls and I barely had wifi.)

*** This is our FIRST Check-in of JUNE!... How have the first few days been for you this week? What are you looking forwards to MOST this month ahead?! This month is super busy to the point where if someone ask if they want me to do something I have to schedule it in.

*** As we start to embark on the 2nd half of the year already.... What are some things or goals that you would like to work on or set for yourself this month? What steps will you take or incorporate to accomplish those goals?!
I am not working on goals this month, but I think it will be more of a just a long to-do list. Cleaning, working on my depression, health issues, exercise, doctor appointments.

*** How was your Long Extended Holiday weekend this past week? If you celebrated, what did you end up doing for Memorial Day? I made hamburgers and hotdogs

*** What are your plans for the weekend ahead?! Cleaning

*** What have been your "Highlights or Struggles" this past week? I realize I have boardline diabetes and carpal tunnel. My doctor sent me meds that I'm allgeric to.

*** What would "YOU" like to talk about or share with us about your Week?! WE want to hear from YOU!~ I hope next week is a bit quieter. I also hope my guy will get a job he enjoys.

@Rebekahwriter13

Hey there Rebekah!

Oh wow... seems like you had quite the week?! Sorry to hear that you are feeling overwhelmed, tired and frustrated. I've been there before many times. And I know how challenging that can be. And to have to deal with all the issues with your brother and dad on top of it. That sounds like a difficult time. I hope that you were able to manage the stress on some level.

Sounds like June will be a busy month for you?! .... I can relate to that as well. Sometimes I have multiple things scheduled throughout the month. I have to go to the calender in my phone just to keep up with everything I'm doing from day to day. Hopefully you have a healthy way and system to manage it all moving forwards. Sometimes it can be a good thing to be "busy" so that we aren't just sitting doing nothing, or doing things out of "boredom". But... However, we surely don't want to be 'too busy" that we can't find time for ourselves.

Its sounds like the things that you have "planned" to work on in the month ahead are surely things that are ALL very important! Working on your depression, health issues, exercises, and doctors appointments. Its great though that you are working on things that can help keep you healthy and well!

Hopefully your doctor will find you better meds to help you that you won't be allergic to! And that the coming week ahead will be a calmer one for you with so much going on around you. I know hectic times can have a not so positive impact on our mental wellbeing. So hopefully you will find quiet time for yourself to just relax from all the stressors of the past week.

Thank you for checking in and the "kind words" above! They are greatly appreciated! Thanks for letting us know how you've been doing, and whats been going on and for simply sharing with us!

@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went. Monday Deysi canceled on me, but I was flexible. Wednesday I attended group therapy for anxiety. The audio was difficult to deal with but generally things went well. Later on Wednesday I went grocery shopping and also for a walk. Thursday I had a meeting with my psychiatrist. She is going to change one of my meds, so I should receive it on Monday. She said it's going to take 6-8 weeks to kick in. I'm also going to try physical therapy. Friday I got my second covid shot, so now I can go back to acupuncture. Friday I also hosted a sharing circle. Generally speaking I have a lot of support now, but it's about 30 years too late. Thirty years ago I knew my life was headed for a disaster, but I didn't know what to do about it. I didn't feel there was anyone to reach out to. I'm sort of stuck in my computer studies. One of the courses I'm taking seems too strenuous. I could take easier courses, but they're not as marketable. I'm still searching for meaning in my life.

@Regmo

Hey there Regmo!....Thats good that despite Deysi canceling on you, that you were able to remain flexible with things. And how great for you that your group therapy went so well (even with the audio issues). How great that you were able to get back out and about for your walk again. Its so good that you seem to be getting in regular walks a few times a week. Its wonderful that you are managing to get that activity in. Glad to hear it. Good for you for trying physical therapy for your needs. Hopefully your PT will be a good one. And congrats on being able to finally get that 2nd Covid shot. Look how fast that all went by! Seems like we were just chatting about it. And hopefully your acupuncture won't take too long to get scheduled now. Congrats on hosting the Sharing Circle! I remember stopping by and noticed that. How proud you must be! What a great job you did. And how great for you that you finally seem to have the support that you've been needing for so long! 30 years ago was Sooo much different. With so many things! So many things have changed in that time. With healthcare, Mental Health... etc... Its so great that we are able to have access to better things now. I'd like to think that its never too late to start to improve or work on yourself. Or work towards better things for yourself! Its just great that you have what and who you need now to reach out to for help!... Sorry that your course is seeming to be a little more strenuous than you originally might have thought. Hopefully that, and finding your "meaning and purpose" will work itself out moving forwards. Overall, you are improving so much from when you first started checking in here! I know things take time when there are things going on that you can't always control, but you are coming a long way from where you were! And continuing to make many good strides for yourself and wellbeing! Keep up the great work that you are doing! And thank you for checking in this week and continuing to keep us up to date on everything.
