**Well this past week was "mildly" better emotionally/mentally..... I'm still trying to gather my thoughts on not going back to my Fitness Studio to work since schedule was reduced. I'm still trying to figure out what my "next" move should be moving forward. If I want to take Action and be pro-active as I can be during this time, OR.. if I should just "Chill-out" and let things happen naturally. I've done both things in the past, and either way things have taken their course neutrally~ So right now my feelings are completely in the middle in that regards.......... My meal-plans have now gotten back on track and I managed to pull myself together this week and tracked everything and did well with that. Water was great, Sleep was (in the middle) somewhere~

**So, last week a Zumba student of mine who's been with me for years, reached out to me about a Park near her. And thought that perhaps it would be a good place to do some "Outdoor" Zumba as well taking part in "Social Distancing" since the grounds are so HUGE!... Well, I went there to check it out last week and oh my goodness, it was one of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen. So green. Green for miles, With Pavillions, Walking trails, dog park, playground AND even an OUTDOOR STAGE!! Like say what!? Like I could actually truly do some outdoor classes there at some points. Not sure how that will all play out moving forward but, will see.

**I found myself back at that same park with my dog a few times this week to get in some activity for the BOTH of us, and to just walk and clear my head. The weather has been Amazing and looks like Summer weather will be on its way soon. So now, I have a new place to take walks at and spend time with my dog... as well getting him outdoors. And it will be a good addition to his walks I take him on outside of the place at the Lake where he loves to go. Its so beautiful there and I found myself able to at least find some "inner peace" while there too.

**Today my intentions are to get up and get a workout in, and then just wherever the rest of the day takes us... Its going to be a Gorgeous day out and just looking to enjoy it.....Sunday we are planning for and hoping to get our Outdoor Pool started on so it will be ready to go no later than the end of the month. Hoping to start including pool workouts soon as well.

ENJOY THE WEEKEND~ STAY SAFE AND HEALTHYyes

Spoke out against the harrassment a doctor & medical staff have been giving me lately, requested that they stop contacting me. It felt a bit nerve-wracking to speak up against this because it may escalate and they may try to section me when they've got no reason to. But I'm cautiously optimistic that I've gotten my message across and come Monday they will agree to stop.

Yeah this month was a blur. I've no idea what the next 2 weeks bring. My goal is to calm down. I keep clenching my teeth because of various stressors. I want to detach.

I think my country will start to feel a bit better when "new" normal just becomes normal. I don't plan on going anywhere over the summer anyway so I don't think I really have to cope much. It's like any other summer to me. If I can't find a remote internship, then I will have to get used to going outside I guess. My college plans to open in the Fall. Can only imagine the strangeness around that since we're an art school that uses studio spaces, equipment, etc. They have a set of plan & scenarios but I think it's pointless. It's funny, I don't feel nearly as anxious now as I do around cold/flu season. I guess it's because usually I'm still at school during that time, exposed to people who are sick because I - and they - don't want to fall behind. Only worried about the internship e.i. not getting one and having to be at school in Spring because of it. I reached out to professors to see if I could help them and they pretty much snubbed me because I'm not an Art History major like they probably want. I'm a lowly Film major to them lol art history majors at my school are such snobs and the professors to but it makes for a good laugh. Imagine being so stuck up and elitist that you can't see the positives of someone outside your field wanting to learn about your field

@Lexloveslife

Wow.. Sorry to hear that you were being harrassed as you were, but that you were able to find the strength to speak out about it! Good for you!...Never be afraid to do what you feel in your heart is the right thing to do. Espeically when we need to be our own advocates. And hopefully your message was WELL Received by them!

I do agree, this month was a blur... it was like blink and you missed it because It literally just started, and now its almost at the end?? Like where did the time go? Its great that your goal for yourself is to remain calm though! Thats not always easy to do, so good for you!

Its good that you are staying neutral about the summer ahead, and looking ahead to Fall plans surrounding college. Sorry to hear that you got snubbed by a professor none-the-less! Thats pretty crappy!..And so unprofessional! Been there, done that.. So not cool!... I hope that you are able to get your desired internship of some sort. Dont' give up!

I appreciate you checking in this week and just simply letting us know how youve been doing and how you are feeling! Continue to stay safe and healthy! We are here for you.

Hey thanks! Yeah things worked out with the doctors. I think sometimes it just bears repeating what you need to say for them to get the message. It was crazy they were trying to get me to go in during a pandemic. Things seem to be looking up with the internship as well. Only time will truly tell with that one.

Take care!

I'm not doing very hot. I've mentioned in earlier check-ins that my family owns a buffet restaurant. Our supplier is charging triple the prices for beef, chicken, vegetables, etc. However, my family is not charging customers more expensive prices because we are situated in a poorer side of town. It is rather concerning because after cost is deducted from our balance sheet, we are only making 300 to $400, minus the rent and utility. I'm just hoping for the best.

I can't believe we're half-way through the month! Wow! Time flies past. My goals for the rest of this month, plus the rest of the summer, is to focus on my academia and health. I've been learning French and Chinese, increasing my vocabulary, educating myself on American politics, etc.

One good thing that happened to me is I went to pickup my graduation regalia! So I got my cap and gown as well as my stole and my honor cords. I also found out that I am the salutatorian of my graduating class. Graduation is set on June 27th. Can't wait!

Hey Waves, high five for saving a bird this week! I'm curious how that all happened if you don't mind sharing ;) I'm also sending virtual water to your plants, hope they'll make it eventually!

Good luck with your lab experiments! It seems to be so stressful with such a tight schedule, but you seem to have already finalized what you need to make it work.

It's awesome to know that you're enjoying working out, this would be a really healthy choice when it comes to stress also. For skipping meal, how about make a schedule or put an alarm on your phone everyday? I hope everything will work out great for you this upcoming week!

Hey Waves!

While it seems the weather you've been having isn't what you have been hoping for recently, I'm glad to hear that you are still doing well this past week! Its good for you that you are making strides towards getting back to some normalcy for yourself (in the way of work and getting back to your own place soon)!

Saving a bird! Wow.. How lovely and heroic is that?!

Sounds like the next few weeks ahead will have you pretty busy and back into the swing of things in your life!? How do you feel about that? Do you feel that you are completely ready and prepared having been out for so long? (I only ask because it I know depending on the person that can surely go either way). ...(I thought I was ready at one point, but I think the more this all went on, and with the un-expected discharge from my studio, that It kind of set me behind mentally a bit on even being concerned with getting back to things or my other fitness class just yet).

Its so great that you are still keeping up with a great healthy living schedule for yourself! I'm sure that you will manage to do quite well with staying on track once you get back to things.... Once you get in to the swing of things, you will get a good routine going for yourself. Its so great that you have come to love your workouts and its so awesome that you did so well during this time of chaos around us. I'm sure you will continue to keep up the great work that you've done during this time!

Thank you so much for continuing to check in this week and letting us know how you are doing, and how things are continuing to go for you!.Please don't become a stranger once you get back into your normal routines! We love hearing from you as well as the support you provide others. And its so great to continue to hear about your week and your progesses! Take care!

I definitely have been stressed by going back to work, and still am, the safety to respect is quite a lot, the schedules are really tight and leave no place to any mistake (yet mistakes happen all the time because it's lab experiments...) and its really uncomfortable to wear a mask while working for several hours... I actually have a fear of suffocating so its not really helping lol. But its all about adjusting and getting back to things! All the safety constraints will soon feel more normal and will become a habit. Despite the stress it has really been so good to see others and get back to work, so that's really all that matters!

Thanks a lot for the encouraging words and for believing this! Ill definitely keep some time to check-in, it has really been helpful to keep things in order lately and Im extremely grateful for that!

**Hey Everyone! How have you been doing?

I'm still doing a little less well than I'd like. A little sluggish and unfocused in my efforts.

**What is ONE great thing that happened for you this week? How did it affect you physcially, mentally or emotionally?

I read Notes from a Friend by Tony Robbins. It surprised me by being not super gimmicky or law-of-attraction-ish. And it was short, so I finished reading in one day and did the exercises in around 3 days. It helped me think of ways to reframe my problems in a way that I could take action on parts of them.

**We are already at the Middle of the Month of May. This month feels like it just started, yet we are now already "Half" way through it!... How has this past week been for you?... How do you envision the last 2 weeks ahead for yourself?... What would you like to get accomplished?... What are your goals for the remainder of this month?

I really want to get done with two online courses by the end of May, Outlook 2019 and Publisher 2019. They are for a job opening near me that will eventually have an interview process.

**With so much going on around us recently, How are you feeling now that things are starting to re-open?... What are your thoughts or feelings about a "new" Normalcy?...How will "YOU" personally cope as things attempt to gradually shift?... How do you feel your "Overall" health or wellbeing will be in regards to things as they do?

It feels too early. The indicators are not far down. In my state things are still shut down but they have moved to a sort of Phase One. My county wanted to petition to open our county to phase two, even though the criteria for doing so hasn't been met yet. The governor said no. On the other hand I need to be looking for work so I can move and afford storage, so I am sending out applications.

**What have been your "Highlights" Or "Struggles" over this past week?

My struggle this week has been balancing safety with the idea of looking for work.

My highlight was watching an episode of "Home Alone" on Viki (a Korean variety show about celebrities that live by themselves) in which a model puts on a one woman fashion show, modeling 100 outfits for various designers. (The fashion show might also be available on YouTube. I'm not sure)

Hey Everyone! How have you been doing? - I've been up and down, Learning how to cope with myself it seems these days.

How do you envision the last 2 weeks ahead for yourself?... What would you like to get accomplished?... What are your goals for the remainder of this month? - I know, I can't believe how far we have come, it's almost summer. I think the next two weeks will be somewhat the same, I would like to fix my sleeping routine.

@PoliteOcean Hey there Police Ocean, I miss you! How have you been? I'm sorry that I come on 7 cups so infrequently, like sometimes once a year haha, but I still exist! haha.

My health has not been great recently, and I think that is because 1) I think there are some things wrong with my body, like underlying issues, but I'm not entirely sure what yet; 2) in quarantine I spend a lot of time sitting down with bad posture and staring at small screens, which make my eyes hurt and my neck, back, and head hurt; and 3) I have not been taking great care of myself because I sometimes get in the mindset of I-don't-deserve-this-I-want-to-make-myself-suffer, etc.

A good thing that happened this week is that I spent some time with friends at some fun events (online). :) It made me feel connected to them and hopeful because we can have more events and get-togethers like this in the future.

Generally though I feel kinda frustrated because it feels like my body is trying to hurt me and make things harder for me, if that makes sense. I just keep having random problems out of the blue. I have this recurring rash on my hand that gets worse when I wash my hands, and yesterday it just got all these tiny blisters all of a sudden. What?! Why?! Even when I put on lotion a million times a day, it still itches. And over the weekend I was just dropping everything. I broke a plate when it just fell out of my hands, which really alarmed me, and then I spilled large amounts of water twice... agh. It is frustrating. I don't know why this stuff is happening. Is it even a problem? Am I blowing things out of proportion and overthinking? I don't know. It's hard to tell. :(

So that's some of the stuff that's going on for me right now. :) Wishing the best to you, Polite Ocean, and to everyone else here! heart
