**Well...this past week has been a little of a roller coaster of emotions etc.. The week started off well, had a great weekend last weekend. Got to see my son on Tuesday when he came to visit. Got workouts in for most of the week..... BUT...sleep has been off, eating plan has not gone well and I did not keep track or stay on track...., and my emotions got the better of me as former students of mine (from the studio that took my class off the schedule) messaged me with a bunch of drama. The studio is apparently going back to re-opening June 1st. And alot of drama ensued over the fact that I was no longer going to be teaching there. It was mainly because the owner wasn't Nor hasn't been upfront with students about their choice to drop their favorite classes. Well.. needless to say, I got pulled back into a mental place that I didn't want to be in considering the 1st half of the week had gone so well.

**Thursday, I made plans to meet up with two of those former students just to get together and walk some walking trails in the local park. (Donned in our MASKS of course) wink....It was really nice to see them again and to sit and talk. Its been over 2 months since I've seen their faces. And we got a ton of chat, activity and steps in as well.......But talking with them and spending time with them only made it more upsetting to know we all won't be returning to the studio again to workout and support one another. And theres not many "studio" options around.... Which put me on the fence again in wondering what steps to take next moving forward. Should I pursue outdoor classes for now (not stable).., Zoom (not everyone cares for virtual), or just let it be and let things go naturally (Whatever that might mean)..... What makes it tough, is that there are alot of mixed feelings and emotions among people. And relationships/friendships have really been divided over this nonsense.. (Except 7cups of course! ....)I found myself considering shutting down all my social media handles and just taking time away from everyone to just get away from it.

**Moving forward,I'm just trying to get my "head-space" in check and get back on track~ I got an email from my other private place that I teach at, thinking I would be starting back again in June, however....It turned out, they were just opening the space for those that actually lived there in the community! Lolol... Sooo....they still aren't letting any outside persons into their community yet. So I'm expecting I won't be going back there until at least July or possibly longer?.. I think because I'm not having "structure" like I did before to occupy my time, that this is the reason why my feelings are also all over the place and why I've been getting off track so much. On a positive note though.. We have gotten our Pool Opened and Ready!... I'm so ready to start swimming and doing pool workouts again, but, the weather has been crappy and rainy! frown Its just so crazy. It was already in the 90's here this time last year..... If I don't laugh I'll cry lolol...I'm glad I'm able to laugh while typing this to you all, because I realize just how petty it all is~ And theres so much more important stuff to think about........ No Memorial Day plans here, just some grilling on our New grill and hopefully some relaxing. And hopefully Some workouts too. I did not do anything today for the first time in months, but I needed that break today for a mental health day.~ We certainly need those.

ENJOY THE WEEK EVERYONE~ STAY SAFE~

Hi LinearWaves,

Sorry to hear that you've been trough hard personal times and feelings. But you are as sensible as you are strong, once you know what to do you'll do it right.

As we all know following each other at this check in posts. Most of us have been struggling with organization and those blurry boundaries between home and work provided by the situation. Now that you are closer to the new "normality" it'll be easier to organize, good luck at work and keeping track with your eating. Try a fashionable face mask and of course, stay safe.

Thank you for sharing. See you next week.

@LinearWaves

Wow.. sounds like you have been dealing with alot of emotions lately (mentally and emotionally). Between making the transistion back to work as well as relationship concerns.

I'm glad to hear that you are staying true to yourself and your feelings. You have to continue to do what is best for you and what will continue to make you happy!

Its great that you are looking to get better organized, as this can tend to help with making a lives run a little bit more "smoother" from day to day. Starting with your eating plan is a good way to help keep control on things! Intermittent Fasting sounds like it could be a great choice for you if you find that your schedule accomodates that better! I have actually dabbled with that myself but its mainly been due to the structure of my own day, rather than I choice/decision that I've made lol..

Its also great that you are thinking ahead on ways to keep and stay hydrated during your day. I know that the masks might make things a little more challenging for you in different ways, but hopefully you will be able to keep a bottle with you that you can sip on throughout the day that can help with those goals for yourself!

I hope that you work week has been going well. And I thank you so much for checking in and letting us know how your week went for you! Please keep us updated on how going back to work has been for you and how you are continuing to do in your goals! Take care!

Im glad I was able to listen to my heart instead of my head telling me I should be in a relationship, I do have a tendency to listen to my head rather than my heart but lately Ive been more able to listen to both or just my heart and it has ended in decisions Im really happy about and satisfied with so far!

Thanks for the support and suggestion! Take care x

Having an accountability partner who encouraged, motivated and helped push me.

Thank you for sharing this week! Co-existing with my parents is also a struggle of mine these past few weeks heartI love them, but I can only be around them for so long. I love that you like gardening! Is there a specific plant or flower you like? And also, what music are you trying to accomplish? Is it instrumental or vocal?

That sounds awesome! I played violin for three months and I decided to quit because string instruments aren't for me. I'm taking on the saxophone currently, my dream instrument since middle school.

**Hey Everyone! ~ How have you all been this week?

I've been good. Yesterday I crashed all day and just watched Korean TV on Viki and then went back to bed.

**We are so closely nearing the end of this month... How are you feeling about things as we get ready to enter the last week ahead of us? What things would you like to get accomplished over the next week ahead? What steps could you take to accomplish your goal or goals?

I am excited and terrified by turns. I start my first paid job in a long time sometime next week or early June. Its going to be challenging but its a good thing. Over the next week I want to get my schedule for Orientation and the first week. And I want to still do the office programs even though I probably wont need them for a while. Next steps include calling HR in the morning on Monday and doing my Universal Class classes.

**Name one thing that might have gotten you off track or plan this past week? In what ways could you take that situation and prepare better for it next time? In what ways were you able to "stay" on track over the week? How could you incorporate that more moving forward?!

Doing my chores wasn't great this last week. In that I didn't do them very often. I started to contemplate doing dishes last night but I was overwhelmed and didn't. In the future I will do the dishes even if there aren't many at the usual times I do dishes because I never want them to stack up like that again.

**For many of us here, Monday is Memorial Day~ That can mean different things for different people. How do you typically spend this day? What will you do differently this year?

I don't usually have anything I do on Memorial Day so it won't be any different than usual. I think this year I will be going down to the grocery store to buy groceries.

**What have been your "Highlights" Or "Struggles" over this past week?

My highlights have been getting an offer of employment, discovering a community I like on FB, and discovering I can advocate for myself in the realm of employment, not just mental health and medical things. My struggles have been keeping on task when I'm waiting for phonecalls because I have to be upstairs to send or receive calls or messages. I can do a better job of using the time between because I have plenty of things I can take upstairs for me to do.

Sounds like you had a great relaxing weekend in bed and watching TV... Sometimes those days are just really good for us to have!

How awesome for you that you are getting ready to work again. You sound really excited by it and and like you are ready for that transition!

I can totally relate to you on doing dishes.. They are Not my favorite thing to do either.. It seems just eating breakfast alone, that mine are aleady piled up! It truly can be overwhelming after only just one or two meals.. I honestly try to wash them again directly after eating my meal which totally helps. But.. sometimes I just get a little lazy and then thats when it gets crazy lol...

Sounds like you have had Alot of great highlights over the course of your week recently! New job, facebook group. And being an Advocate for yourself is VERY important! Its awesome that you are able to do that for yourself. And its great that you are also to recognize your struggles and how to to implement things that may help with those struggles in the future! Great job! Keep up the great work. Thank you for checking in and letting us know how you've been, and please continue to keep us up to date on how things are going with your new job!

Thanks for your great work running forums.

It's interesting to read some of the posts, it helps to make me feel normal seeing everyone go through struggles as well.

I have just started engaging with 7 cups and therapy.

I have begun active listening with mixed experiences.

After losing my job through this crisis and needing income, I have had to access some of my superannuation to survive.

I have just used the last of that paying rent and have some cash left in my wallet.

I have received gardening for cash which is helping.

My goals this week include earning money.

Getting over some more paperwork hurdles so I can access government support.

Finding the courage to look for work again.

Writing a resume.

& Looking into training for new career possibilities.

So here we go.

One foot in front of the other.
