**This past week has gone very well....I had a lot of "ME" time and self care since I didn't teach any classes this week. It felt nice to have extra time to get caught up on things..... But, it also went pretty fast as well. I did stay on track with 'Activity' even if just walking or doing a few DVDs at home...My sleep was ok and my water was ok.....
**I can't believe Thanksgiving has already came and gone!?.. Needless to say, I did NOT stay on plan with eating this week.... I had a late dinner with my husband on Sunday, .. and my son whom I rarely get to see since he works so much, wanted to take me to lunch on Monday..I can hardly remember the last time we had a chance to do that together.. Its been Months!.... We both had dental appt's that day together since it was his day off, and afterwards he treated me to lunch together. Honestly, I wanted to stay on plan, and I could have, but he took me to our favorite Italian eatery. And we had a nice time together, as well as "bonding" time, so I don't regret it one bit that I decided to have my favorite dish there with him. (I had some Salad too so that counts for something!)...
**Thanksgiving Day went really well at my moms (who did most of the cooking). Honestly to me, that is the perfect day, all of us together under one roof enjoying each others company and having a great time together....laughing, talking, eating, and enjoying..... And thats what we did... Did I "Over-do" it on the meal a bit? Absolutely..... but, again, I don't regret it one bit because its not an "everyday" thing for me to do that.....I did manage to get up, get out and "Move" each day this week... I even got up & worked out for an hour on Thanksgiving day before heading to my mom's. I at least wanted to get in my mimimum amount of steps before going over because I knew I'd be sitting alot with the very cold weather we're having at the moment.... And I accomplished that.
**Well, now its up to me to get "back at it, and back on track"... That can be challenging when you allow yourself more than "one" free day in the same week for whatever occasion or reason. But I'm ready to do so. I don't want to get caught in another "Holiday rut"... and we're only ONE month away from Christmas Eve already?!!
.....Good thing is that my husband decided that he wants to start getting back on track too~ It will be nice to be doing this together again like we were before......Today is our Free day, (errands and shopping etc...)
HOPE EVERYONE ENJOYED THEIR WEEK~ Enjoy the weekend~![]()

@Mellietronx
Hey Mellie! So great to hear from you again this week!
Sounds like things are really going amazing for you lately?!.. Thats great for you.......
How productive you must feel for getting your room organized. It must be that time of year, as I was doing the same thing last week lol...
In what ways do you feel December is going to be amazing for you?!.....How nice that you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday spending time with friends and watching movies. What in particular did you watch?!
Thanks so much for checking in this week and sharing with us how things have been going and progressing for you! Please be sure to check back and keep us up to date!
Keeping up with exercise and healthy eating. My first week walking in very cool weather. Layers of clothing worked well. I do like crisp cold air. Thanksgiving was a nice day and did not limit myself enjoying the meal. I did practice moderation with desert with a small slice of apple pie with no toppings. So I feel it was a nice day and for the most part kept on track. I know around this time year eating out is always a challenge for me. Just have to make up the extra calories when home. I think that's how I gained the weight last year. Going into these holidays I think I am on track for moderation. Month flew buy which is good and I was fairly productive. Enjoy your weekend
@sail46
Hey there Sail!...
Its great that you are continuing to stay on track and manage everything such as activity and eating.... Awesome for you that you aren't letting the colder weather keep you from doing so. My mom and I have been bundleling-up as well and manage to get out a few days here and there. I don't like "Fridgid", but can bundle up for "chilly" lol...
Its also really good that you managed to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with no limits on your meal, while also managing to "treat" yourself to a little dessert in moderation. We "should" be able to enjoy without feeling guilty or deprived...... And good for you for managing to look back at the pattern and recognizing what may have caused your "holiday gain" last year. Being able to realize that I'm sure will help you to stay accountable to yourself "this year"! (For me, I "Know" it was the tracking) I simply stopped tracking what I ate, not that I felt I was doing badly at all, but "not" tracking everything as well as falling behind a bit on workouts/activity I'm sure is what caused mine.........
Continue to keep up the great job that you are doing with yourself and your plan. I love keeping up with you each week, as it continues to motivate me as well to stay on plan myself!~ Thanks so much for checking in this week and sharing with us how things are continuing to go for you!
Keeping my gym classes as good for my wellbeing and helps with mood :) feeling relaxed more able to handle the stresses of life with exercise helps fight symptoms of depression /anxiety and good for general health all round its a winner . natural anti depressant given you have a healthy diet as well :)
@lovelyWords13
Hey there!.. So nice to see you this week.
Awesome for you for keeping up with your gym classes, that is great! Are you doing any classes in particular? Or just using the machines? I'm glad that doing something like that for yourself helps to manage your over-all wellbeing and that you are able to feel relaxed and manage stress better because of it!
Continue to keep up the great work that you are doing, and please check back and let us know how things are going for you. Thanks for checking in this week!

**What things would YOU like to talk about or share with us?! WE want to hear from YOU!!
I want to write more and sleep less but I am healing
@Rebekahwriter13
Hey Rebekah great to hear from you this week!
Sounds like you had a pretty good Thanksgiving and enjoyed?!... How come you didn't have Yams? Do you not like them, or are you just avoiding them for other reasons?
Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with Gout.. I hear that can be pretty painful?
I can agree with you about being ready for spring (or at least warmer weather)... I personally only really enjoy the Winter months around the Holidays then I'm ready for some warmth.. We don't really get snow here, but temps can really drop in the Winter season.
Thanks for checking in this week and letting us know how things are going for you.. Sounds like things are going well for you.
@PoliteOcean we just couldn't afford yams with everything else. I love yams, I spice and put marshmallow on them, yum.
My gout does hurt and it been draining me.
It's not even winter time and I'm fighting the winter blues, sigh.
