*Well... started off the week ready to get back on track (after 3 weeks of being "Off" track).... . Not too bad this week with that. I kept up with eating well, and got back to tracking my points with Weight Watchers.... I also kept up with all my workouts. Its been BEAUTIFUL here! Sunny and in the 80's (F) everyday, (supposed to be like that again next week too) .coolyes..So I managed to get out and get my Hour worth of walking in about 4 nights this week. And Co-taught one Zumba again this past week. ( I still need to start incorporating some type of weights or strength-training more.. Even if just some hand-held weights.... And my water hasn't been too bad this week either since I've gotten outside more with all the great weather.

*Next week I am going to try to go back to teaching my "own" Zumba class again starting Monday.... I took a break from doing that for a little while to deal with my Anxiety & Depression issues. It can be challenging to "do" for others, when you feel like you can't "do" for yourself. So will see how that all goes...I'm just going to start with a "Small" class for now, nothing too intense.

*My anxiety was up and down this week, I just did my best to push through it all and tried to concentrate on coping skills.... I got up, got out and took my Puppy for PLENTY of walks in the Sunshine this past week. It helps to clear my head to be at the Lake with him near the calm and peacefullness of the water~~

*Today is 'Rest Day" and there are PLENTY of "Fall Festivals" in the area, (Welcome Fall here in the U.S.)!... so I am hoping to get out to some of those this weekend. There will be on every weekend for the next Month at least starting today.... .I hope everyone else's week has gone well smiley

This week has been really good, maybe because I'm leaving on vacation today.

I've been eating ok lately, not 100% clean, but I didn't eat tons of chocolate either. And I've done Zumba every day, so far.

The challenge for next week is to eat healthy and try to workout a few times (besides walking a lot).

@Ravenclaw7

Ravenclaw!...Have we discussed before the Fact that you like Zumba??!...lol...

That is pretty awesome that you have done it so much this week.. I used to teach like 7 classes a week, and then attend other instructors classes too... lol...I could honestly do it everyday if I could as my form of exercise. But I know we need variation as well. I too walk alot, my neighborhood consists of several "Hills", so Its ALOT of interval walking. It gets my heart-rate up pretty high as well. I almost burn more calories doing that than I do with Zumba!

I think its also great that while you feel you haven't eaten 100% clean that you are managing to eat healthy. And in the end thats whats more important. We can't all be 100% all the time. A balance / moderation is a great thing. (They say 80% eating well/ 20% Exercise) ;)

Keep up the great work that you are doing! And thank you so much for checking in this week and letting us know how you've been doing!

I've been quite good this week, though I have had some trouble sleeping and pretty nasty headaches, too.

I recently incorporated eating proper breakfasts into my routine, and I hope I can keep it up. I'm also trying to eat less sweets, though I'm not as successful with that, I'm afraid. ^^;

I'm also far behind on my exercise goals, though I at least went for a walk today. But I had a look at my upcoming schedule (uni starts in one week from now for me) and it's probably going to be another pretty sedentary term since I have to take so many classes (and study for them). sad I'll try to at least walk/take the stairs when I have the opportunity.

@Amarillo

Sorry to hear that you haven't slept well.... My sleeping aren't always the greatest either, and I woke up with that "headache behind the eye".. Not the greatest feeling either. I do hope that you are able to start getting better sleep. I know that can affect the quality of our day.....Its great that you are starting to incorporate better breakfasts into your routine as well!....Starting the day off with good sleep and a great breakfast should have to feeling great all around!...... I'm not much for "sweets" however, On my "Treat Day" (which is only once a week, I do love to have a piece of Cheesecake lol...Those can be hard to avoid, so I can only imagine what it must be like for someone who is a 'True sweet eater" I hope that goes better for you trying to cut back. I know that can certainly make a difference in the way we feel, and also perhaps help with less headaches as well!........You can do whatever you set your mind to do!... Keep going!

I know it can be challeging to keep up with exercise goals as well. It can be difficult to get back on track sometimes when we get off....But, you did get a "walk" in so that is an Excellent start!.... And with school starting back for you, its great that you have a "Goal" in mind by taking the stairs and walking when you can. EVERY little bit helps in keep up with your goals!.. You can do it! One day and one 'Step" at a time! So keep up the great work that you are doing! And thank you so much for checking in this week and letting us know how you are doing!

I have been using my Wii Fit board, to engage in step exercise. I would like to lessen my caffeine intake, and drink more water.

Hey! It's been a while :3 I missed you lot very much <3

I was away from 7Cups for about a month, for circumstances mostly beyond my control. Quite a lot happened during the month, so I'll provide a summary of that. Though, I have to add a warning for the first part because it may be NSFW/triggering? I may be wrong about that.

Okay, so, during August my family decided to take a trip to Spain/Europe. It was pretty cool. Unfortunately we were at the attack site in Barcelona, so that really sucked. We were actually in the middle of it all and it was a very stressful and frightening day or two. But, we're all okay and we all made it out safely. I was shaken up for a while, and I think it's kind of one of the reasons I avoided 7Cups for a while, especially as a Listener. I'm okay now, though :3 Hai! I missed you <3

Almost immediately after that I had to return to the States because school was starting. I was also moving into my first home. I'm about a month into my new home and it's pretty cosy, tbh. I like it. I have three other housemates. I'm still decorating it and I love interior design. So it's been a blast! Cooking for myself has been interesting as well because I went from using the dining courts and just cooking for fun every now and then to needed to cook to survive. That's pretty cool. Stressful at times, but pretty cool. I'm still figuring out a weekly meal plan but this week I'm going to try to cook chicken for dinner! I used to eat 2-3 lb of chicken for every dinner when I was at the dining courts. So, my fridge is currently stocked with 12 lb of chicken. Welp. I also have about 48 eggs planned for next week, too. Before adding chicken to my plan, I was eating 120 eggs a week for protein. And even then that wasn't giving me enoug protein. I work out for about ~15 hours a week, so I tend to need a lot D:

On the note of working out, I joined my school's run club! That's pretty cool. I was supposed to go to my first race last week, but I fainted before it (oops) and ended up in the hospital. I'm okay though! They did a blood test and other tests, but apparently I'm physically okay. The doctor told me to stop tiring myself out and just take a break every now and then. If you look at my schedule, I'm usually up every day at 4 AM. I spend an hour doing chores, cooking breakfast, and meal prepping lunch. Then, I spend another hour drawing and teaching myself how to sketch. After that, I tend to go to work for about 3-4 hours (I got a job as a part-time baker, which is perfect for me because I love to bake!). After work, I'm usually in classes until 6 PM. 6PM to 9 PM is homework time, then bed time. I usually have slots for working out in between my classes. So yeah, almost no free time :( But, alas, that's the life I have chosen for myself when I took up two majors and two minors. Because I fainted, I couldn't work out at all for the last week and a half until the doctor cleared me. I can go work out again starting on Monday, and I'm itching to do it. I wasn't even allowed to go running like I usually do. I'm probably back to being a slow poke D:

Something I noticed about living by myself is that sometimes I snack a lot D: I keep fluctuating between putting on weight and losing weight. I'm trying to maintain my weight. I want to be at ~130 lb. I was ~129 lb when I moved into my home. I went up to ~137 lb at some point. Now I'm down to 132 lb. Gosh, this is difficult. It's okay, though. I'll figure all this out eventually :P

Because the kitchen is my favourite room, I want to decorate it and make it look nice. I'm in charge of cleaning it since I cook/bake all the time and use up the most dishes. My housemates, in return, take care of the rest of the house. It's a 2-story house, so I'm very grateful I don't have to clean up the rest of it. Yay! Also, I let them eat from the desserts I bake :P I'm not sure how I want to decorate the kitchen, but I'm thinking about it! I have my tea cabinet set up, and it's very pretty. It's made of bamboo and glass. Tea was the very first thing I made sure my kitchen had when I moved in.

I think that's it from me for now. There's so much happening with the whole living by myself and whatnot. But, it's been pretty cool. I'll definitely be going back to the dorms next year though. It's not that I dislike living in a house. Actually, I love it more than the dorms. But, as a full time student, I don't think I get to enjoy it as much. I would love to spend all day cooking, baking, and cleaning. That honestly sounds like a fun time to me. But, I don't get to do that D: So, I think until I'm out of school, dorms will be better. Especially since I don't have to constantly worry about making sure the home isn't falling apart. I'm really happy to find out that I genuinely will enjoy living in a house/flat in the future. And hey, the next year will be a cool learning experience on how to live so that once I'm done with college, I can adult.

Until next time, take care <3 And I'm happy to be back.

@JLantern

Hey JL! Welcome back!....

I'm sorry to hear about what went down while you and your family were away.... Its great that you all are doing well and made it through and that you recognized that you needed to take a break for awhile and do some self care after everything!.....

Its great that you have found a house with some room-mates as well.. Thats great. You sound very excited about it all so thats a good thing. I know I enjoyed moving out on my own for the first time as well. Very adventurous and nerve-wracking all at the same time lol...Its great that you are cooking for yourself and making plans on how to stay on track and eat healthy as well. Lots of times when people move out on their own this is where they can fall off track. So its great that you are putting in the effort to help with that!.......Its awesome that you already have an activity ready to go at school as well!... Running is a great way to work out if you can do it.. Personally I am NOT a great runner at all, but when I did do it, I ALWAYS felt so very accomplished. Sorry to hear that you "fainted" but its good to hear that everything turned out to be alright!....

Its great that you found a job that you are happy with and also good at...I imagine you can make yourself all kinds of healthy meals......I try to keep cooking as simple as possible. I don't like to cook much to be honest...lol.... So I am very simple. I wish I was a good baker though so I could cook "more" healthier things for myself....

Its great that you and your housemates have come up with a "Plan" about who is going to do what. That should hopefully keep much peace within the household. I'm sure they are also VERY happy to have someone in the house who knows how to cook as well! I know I'd be! lol..

Its great that you also know what you want and are planning out future endevors for yourself....Its always good to have some sort of plan. And were glad to see you back here at 7cups as well!.. I was wondering how you were doing and where you went :) Thank you so much for checking in this week and for letting us all know how you've been doing! Keep up the great work that you are doing. You sound really happy and glad to hear that things are going well for you.

I have done ok this week. Last weekend's problem must have been allergies because Claritin has kept me feeling better. I did my usual exercise and ate pretty well. I managed to not drink any wine for 3 days this week. I would like to cut down on those calories, plus I would maybe sleep better. Today I was able to spend a lot of time outside doing chores in the animal pens and garden. It was good for me to be out in the sunshine. Tomorrow I am going hiking at a nearby state park in the morning and then hopefully cook in the afternoon. I have not done any cooking for the last 2 weekends.

I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better and getting up and out and about again!.. Its great that you feel well enough to get outdoors and enjoy the weather. I know the Sunshine here has been off-the-chain Excellent! It can certainly help with making us feel better, perhaps re-directing our thoughts and emotions for the day!

I hope you enjoy your day out Hiking! I can only imagine what great exercise that will be for you after getting off track recently...But you have a plan in place and thats awesome! I hope it does you a world of good! Enjoy! Thank you so much for checking in this week and letting us know how you've been doing and feeling. . Also good for you on deciding to make a change regarding "Drinking your calories"...great choice to make, and you're right, it might help you to sleep better which is always a great thing. Keep up the great work girly smileyyes

This week has been pretty good. I was finally able to do a 100 kicks in a row at taekwondo. I didn't do my wall walks or any at home exercises I usually do because I had a lot of homework and was exhausted which was slightly frustrating. However I have been tracking water intake and was pretty proud of how much I have been drinking. I also passed my driving test and I wasn't very anxious about it beforehand. Also, how do I get added to the tags at the bottom of the weekly check ins?

ps... I'm not sure how to answer your question, can you explain what exactly it is that you are trying to "add"? Thanks!
