🎄 This past week was well, & was also seemingly a "Whirl-wind" of a week in getting ready for the Christmas Holiday... Last weekend was a beautifully, milder weekend. And started off with a Sat. morning Zumba class, then afterwards a walk with the Pup outdoors, & the evening spent completing my gift-wrapping. Sunday was similar as I continued with Holiday prep....~
🎅As the week started off, my Gym-time was minimal with only a few days due to the holiday schedule... But I still kept up with my workouts/activity goals, increased my Hydration that was lacking, & managed some decent Sleep goals as well for the week... We got out & about to view more Christmas lights around town & in the City.. On Christmas Eve I hosted a very small family gathering that went wonderfully well, & Christmas Day was spent at my parents... I got some awesome giftcards to my favorite places, as well as awesome gifts (mostly equipment & Fitness related).... We were also blasted with a 70-degree day out for Christmas 🌞, so my dreams of a "White Christmas" ❄️ were dashed~ But outdoor time was Plenty throughout the week & felt amazingly warm~
🎁This weekend ahead, intentions are to get back on track with a Fitness class first thing Sat. morning for some motivation... And then get out & about to enjoy the Amazing warmer weather we are having for this time of year!... (It will be in the 70's this weekend 😎)~... So will take a good drive out & check-out some Post-holiday sales, & post-holiday errands... Looking forwards to keeping on track & maintaining with things in the Last week ahead, some gym time, trying out my new Home-fitness equipment, & ending the year on a good note.... For New Years Eve, looking forwards to a small, quieter celebration with loved ones, as we ring in a New Year ahead~
Happy Weekend~

@PoliteOcean
A pleasure 💚
@PoliteOcean Sunday I spent 45 minutes trying to activate my new upgraded Obama phone. I really hate that. I lost the internet password. Leslie is gone all week. I assume she is either in Tonga or New Zealand. Monday I shaved. It's an ordeal, as always. I finished reading my commentary on Psalms 1-50. It's a really great series. I got a massage. I had a girlfriend Sonia for about 3 days. I sent her an Amazon gift card but she falsely accused me of sending her a fraudulent card. For Christmas I had a lousy dinner and it was 30 minutes late. Pretty disappointing. John decided to sweep the bedroom floor and clean under his bed Christmas night. It ruined my mood to watch a movie. I hate watching movies on my Obama phone but I am desperate. I usually watch history documentaries. I finished reading "Old Goriot" by Zola. It was very good. I started to read "Swanns Way" by Marcel Proust. It's my first book by Proust. I'm also reading "Germinal" by Zola. It's about an iron miners strike in 1885. I'm going to continue with French Literature for a few more weeks. There is no reason why I need to stop. My energy fields are shifting which is really great news. I don't understand how John thinks he's going to move 2000 miles away. He's in really poor health and he is financially unstable and he doesn't have a solid relationship with his boyfriend. I really hope he stays. I don't want to have to adjust to a new roommate. I finally have Leslie and Sifa trained to where I want them to be. What an ordeal. Friday I had a nice chat with my long lost friend Bill. This house is really unsanitary. There are germs all over the place. I get diarrhea about once a week for the past two months. That Imodium liquid is expensive if I have to buy it on a regular basis. I'm still upgrading my wardrobe to put my days at the skilled nursing facility behind me.
@Regmo
Hey Regmo~ Seems like you had a mostly productive week between setting up your phone, getting a shave in, reading your commentary, getting a massage, talking to your friend Bill, as well as continuing to work on your wardrobe... That’s a lot of positive in the week… That’s too bad that you didn’t enjoy your Christmas dinner & that it was served late. And also that Your roommate decided to clean that same night. (Seems like he probably should’ve done that before the holiday)?!... But I guess it’s a positive that he swept the floor to a room you both share?!.. It’s also good that you are continuing to keep up with your reading interests & hobbies. And that you feel that you are doing better with things… Hopefully for you things pan out with your roommate so you don’t have to adjust to changes again. I know that change can be frustrating & difficult…. As far as the household problem with germs & such, while they can’t always be avoided when you share a home with many others, But Being sure to always wash your hands, having hand sanitizer on you in between that, & getting yourself some disinfectant wipes can help with all of that. Also If you spend money on those things, maybe it can help in avoiding spending money on Imodium?!.. And you may not even have to use it anymore. As a Nurse it Can’t hurt to try & follow a good regimen when living with others who aren’t clean or practice good hygiene. Thanks for checking in to share your week. Continue to update us on how things are going.
@PoliteOcean
My week was pretty good. I am currently Up North (Michigan) for Christmas. It's been very busy this week.
My oldest daughter had a severe sinus infection, so the first week up here was spent getting her back to health.
And, the weather here has been super cold. Thank God for my heated blanket!
@ScorpiaD
Hey there~
Despite the busy week & helping to nurse your daughter through illness, it’s nice that overall it went good for you.
And inspite of the weather being colder there, I think it’s nice that you could spend it in Michigan as it probably made it seem a little more “Christmas-y” there?! … Im with you, heated Blankets are great! (I’ll be pulling mine out next week as our weather turns colder again)!
Thanks for the share & checking in this week. Continue to let us know how things are going.
@PoliteOcean
