**AND ANY & ALL THAT WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH US~
🍁This past week was well, & went by so quickly~... I spent last weekend in early Zumba classes to start off each day. And we got out & about for a nice Autumn drive & to some of our favorite stores for a little shopping... The weather was still colder each day, so it was also evenings indoors, with good food & good Halloween movies to top off each night.~ As well, we also came together with family for a wonderful Birthday celebration to top off the weekend itself~
🌾 I took it easy on Monday as the week began & took a day off of Most things... The weather has been colder & dreary here over the past week. But inevitably got back into my work, volunteering, & Group Fitness classes come Tuesday. Due to the colder & rainy weather over the week, there was also No outdoor time~ I didn't plan or track this past week, but just went with the flow of things & how my body felt.~... However I completely stayed on track with Workouts & Hydration goals. Sleep also wasn't too bad overall... It can definitely be easy to get off track with goals or meal-planning & tracking during colder days or months or times when stuck indoors... However I finished off October successfully in my personal goals!.. And looking forwards to continuing on with my Personal November goals ahead...~ The next week ahead will finally go back to being more seasonal, milder & warmer here again. So will also get back into some Outdoor time~
🍂 This weekend ahead looking forward to continuing on in my goals to start off the new month... Intentions are for early Zumba classes to start off each day. And the Holiday festivals & festivities will also begin here as well. So may check one out. And run a few weekend errands~
HAPPY WEEKEND~
@PoliteOcean
My favourite cold weather drink is tea, this is my favourite time of the year 🥰
It's been a tough week, lost a good friend in very sad circumstances, so I've had to be gentle with myself.
💜💕

@Amanda84
Hey Amanda~
This is definitely a “cozy” time of year to enjoy. 😊
We are so sorry to hear that you’ve lost a good friend. I’m sure that has been very sad & difficult for you. Condolences 💐 to you. Loss isn’t any easy thing.
But we are glad for you that you are doing something healthy during this time by just being gentle with yourself. Good job to you there. Hugs! 💕
Thank you for taking the time to share with us this week. And please keep us updated on how you’re doing.
@PoliteOcean I really like it when you post early. My life is a lot better these days. Justyce is working out great as a caretaker. Edna the house cleaner has moved out. I'm happy about that because she had a loud voice. Tina is the new house cleaner and she seems to be doing great. I'm going to get a $44 COLA increase in my disability payment starting on Jan 1st 2026. I bought a large glass bottle of coconut water and also electrolyte packets in case of any shipping delays of my coconut water. I'm going to have to replace the glass bottle every six months. I've been doing a lot of de-stressing this past week. I have several years of accumulated stress stored in my muscles. Tuesday John left his plate of leftover spaghetti in the bedroom overnight and my bedroom stank like spaghetti all morning until he removed it. Tuesday night I ran out of reading material. I really hate that. I'm going to start reading books Theology and the Arts since that's what I'm really interested in. I may still read philosophy books but will stick to epistemology. A lot of philosophy prior to 1800 AD is archaic because of modern developments in science, economics and psychology. I got 4 walks in this week. During the month of October I used $60 worth of data for my Smart phone. Yikes that's a lot. God doesn't want me to research the ages of famous people or celebrities. For this upcoming week my birthday is on Sunday November 2nd. Monday I have an appointment with my PCP and Thursday I have an appointment with my alternative medicine practitioner. My treatments are going great but I need a lot of work done on both shoulders but I can't deal with that now because of my toxic environment.
@Regmo
Hey Regmo~ That’s great that you feel things that things are going a lot better for you. And also that your newest caretaker (as well as the new house cleaner), is continuing to work out for you so far. I totally forgot about disability increases in the new year. That’s something to look forward to. Good job to you on planning ahead with your coconut water & electrolytes. As well as taking time to destress, & continuing to work on your interests & hobbies. That’s great that you were able to get in so many walks during the week! Keep up the great work. As far as your phone, could you get a plan that includes everything (such as the data)? These days they offer much better deals than in the past. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy your upcoming birthday. Perhaps your caretaker could come & get you out & about that day? Maybe even treat yourself to a favorite drink or treat if able to or affordable? It sounds like you not only had a productive week, but will also have a productive week ahead as well getting in your appts. It’s good that you feel your treatments are going well & working for you, That’s the important part. Especially if you’re paying for them! Thanks for checking in to share your week. Continue to keep us posted on how things are going & how your birthday went.

🍁Hey all~ Welcome to the Weekend~ And Welcome to November~ ... How was your Halloween?... Did you get any Trick-or-Treaters?... How are you feeling as we enter a New Month today?
My Halloween was FA..BOO...LOUS (see what I did there. ;) ) We got roughly around 50 trick-or-treaters. My oldest daughter dressed up as Janet Weiss from Rocky Horror Picture Show and I dressed up as Dr. Frank N. Furter from Rocky Horror Picture Show as well. My youngest daughter dressed up as Supergirl. As for the new month, I am looking forward to November as we celebrate Thanksgiving. Bring on the turkey!
🌾This is our "FIRST" Check-in already for "NOVEMBER"~... As we say Goodbye to October, we are now in the 11th Chapter of the year~... WHAT would you like to write New for yourself in this Chapter ahead?!... What are your goals or intentions for this Month?... What are you looking forward to in November?!
What I would like to write new for myself is to continue pursuing the goals I have set. My goal is to complete the goals I have set. What I look forward to this month is Thanksgiving and football!
🍂This weekend on NOVEMBER 2ND, many of us will turn back the Clocks ONE hour as we "Fall Back" & come to the end of Daylight Savings Time~... What are your thoughts on this time change?... How do you feel that this particular Time change affects you or your overall well-being this time of year?!
I absolutely LOVE this time of year. The darker it gets early, the happier I am. The time change doesn't affect me too much.
🍁JUST FOR FUN: In the Spirit of Autumn, What is your Favorite "Cold-weather" Drink or Comfort food?
My go-to cold-weather drink is hot cocoa or hot cider. Yum!
@ScorpiaD
Hey there~
Sounds like you had a great Halloween 🎃…. 50 Trick/Treaters is alot. As We don’t seem to get many if anyone at all anymore…The Kids all grew up in our neighborhood.~ But sounds like you all had a good time…. And I’m with you “Time for the Turkey”!
Sounds like a nice basic goal, (In continuing to pursue, complete, & reach) what you/we have set out to accomplish! I totally get that….. I don’t do the football thing myself, but my entire family all loves it. However, I’m totally with you on the Thanksgiving part! … What’s your favorite football team?
I’ve never tried hot cider~ (Maybe one day)… But I’m totally down with the Hot Cocoa! That’s my “go-to” as well.~
Sounds like you’re all set for a nice, cozy Fall & Holiday season ahead?!
Thanks for stopping in to Check In & share with everyone this week. And Continue to keep us posted on how things are going.
@PoliteOcean
I am from Michigan, so my team is the Detroit Lions!
🍁Hey all~ Welcome to the Weekend~ And Welcome to November~ ... How was your Halloween?... Halloween was quiet. We don't usually get any trick or treaters so we kept the lights off and watched television. We actually started "Welcome to Derry" on HBO MAX....sort of a prequil series to "IT"...... How are you feeling as we enter a New Month today? I think I've mentioned before that November holds mixed feelings for me....its the start of the cold, short days that bring seasonal depressions and funks, yet, also the beginning of the holiday seasons that I love so much.....kinda confusing lol.....
🌾This is our "FIRST" Check-in already for "NOVEMBER"~... As we say Goodbye to October, We are now in the 11th Chapter of the year~... WHAT would You like to write New for yourself in this Chapter ahead?!...What are your goals or intentions for this Month?... ...I have started a new class through NASM.....for the chapter we call November, I would like to finish and pass my "Group Fitness Instructor" certification. I have plans to next move on to spin instructor certification at some point in the future.... What are you looking forwards to in November?! I am looking forward to Thanksgiving week. I'm not sure if I mentioned this before but we are new "second home" owners in the form of a condo in North Myrtle beach. We will be spending Thanksgiving week there. We will see the Christmas show at the Alabama theater among other things....but the Christmas show is what I am most looking forward to....I really enjoy the theater.....
@CyclingThroughLife
Hey there Cycling 🚴 ~ Nice to see you this week~ 👋🏼
Yes Halloweens here have definitely grown very quiet here these past few years as well… (With the kids in the neighborhood all growing up & the rise of newer housing developments around us)…~ But it now Makes for a nice, quiet Halloween indoors. And good Halloween movies make it even better!.. surely nothing wrong with that! … I have Only JUST seen the previews of that “Welcome to Derry”! That looks really good?! How are you enjoying it ? Is it worth giving it a watch?! (As I did quite enjoy “IT”, both the original & the remake).~
I do recall the mixed feelings you have about this time of year. Lol.. Nothing wrong with that either. I get that way too “after” the Holidays… (As I spend so much time keeping busy with all the pre-holiday stuff that once it’s over, I kind of Sulk some in the dark, colder days of Jan/Feb!) So I do it get it.. Not confusing there at all. Those feelings are totally valid. Even more so for us “Non-Winter” folks! Lol
oh how great for you that you are continuing to work towards that Group Ex cert! And how exciting for you regarding the SPIN Certification! That makes perfect sense for you!. And omg, the Spin classes are So very popular! I think that’s a wonderful idea! Please keep us updated on how things are moving along with that.
I do recall you talking about that beach condo & your retirement plan going forward. How awesome that you took the steps in moving ahead with that. Thanksgiving week is quite a popular week to be in MB. I know many who go that week. It sounds like an amazing time (& holiday) ahead for you. Enjoy!
Sorry to hear about the “home repairs” that need done. You’re definitely playing a tune there that I don’t like lol.. as we are in a similar boat. But you are right, it is what it is I suppose. As that’s what owning a home can bring unfortunately. But I have no doubt that you’ll progress forward in getting it all dealt with & taken care of… Outside of that, it’s great for you that things are progressing well currently. And It was great to hear from you this week.
Thank you for checking in and please don’t be a stranger! Continue to keep us posted on how you’re doing and how things are going for you.~ Enjoy your week~
