This reno is my kids shower.

Demo complete, shortened a duct run to remove the bulkhead from the shower area. Extended a duct run to an upper floor bedroom.
Poured leveling cement on the floor. Now wait for it to cure.

The self leveling floor finally cured over night.
Today was plumbing and sheetrock. After a couple of runs to Home Depot.
The sheet rock is a product called "DenseSheild" fiberglassed based. Once you start working with it you don't want to stop until the job is done.

Well went to fit the drain *** and nothing went right. I ended up spending half the day busting open the floor around the drain for the *** to fit. UGH, I hate when there is an unexpected snag.
Using a German system called "Schluter" it requires all the screw holes to be covered with a waterproof fabric. More to come on that system.
In the last picture you can see the new drain.

Frustrating day but finally got the floor tiled.
Music tile, my first time attempting to install these.
All cut to size and dry fit in the shower
Finally laid the tiles, hope to start the walls first thing tomorrow

First time working with large format tiles.
24" x 48", each tile is almost 40lbs
All I have to cut them is a small 4" wet saw.
First row finally up, took some time to make sure it was level. The rest of the tiles depend on the first row to be level. Laser level sure does help.
