POTATO THREAD REVIVAL. I have no idea how I happened upon this old thread, but potatoes are easily the 8th wonder of the world. If someone had a gun to my head and said, "CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE PREPARATION OF A POTATO OR ELSE", I feel like I'd be the first potato martyr. Potatoes4lyfe.

I love potatoes, all kinds. My favorite (other than french fries) would be fried, specifically fried by my late aunt Jean, cast iron pan, so good. I really like rice potatoes with the big sit down meals like turkey or roast, anything that gets a gravy, For those unfamiliar, rice potatoes have nothing to do with rice, boiled and then pressed with a little tool that makes them into spagetti size strings, they don't get much length, hence the name. We generally had them instead of mashed, I suspect my mother found it easier than fitting the lumps lol.
