Some plant pictures ✨️
hey everyone!
sometimes i like taking pictures of plants around me, usually plants in our balcony and plants i see when we go for trips. someone asked me if i was comfy sharing some of the pictures i've taken, here on the forums, and i think i can do it hehe! 🌿
i was honestly quite hesitant, but i just discovered that today, 19th august, is celebrated as world photography day. so i convinced myself to share some pics, and today is the day i must do it, haha! 📸
so i looked through a lot of photographs and found some that i think i can share here. some of them are from quite a while back, while some are fairly recent.
here you go! ✨️

thank you everyone for looking through these. i hope you liked them. by the way, i take pictures of the sky too sometimes, but usually it's just plants. 💚
anybody else here interested in plant photography? or nature photography or just photography in general? feel free to share some of your pictures if you'd like! 💙
tagging @WeEarth since you asked to see. 🌎
@exuberantBlackberry9105 They are all so stunning and beautiful<3 Thank you for sharing. I do take of pictures of clouds just for myself :) it's fun capturing beauty like that. Loved your photos!
@BlueDarkAurora Thank you so much! 🥰 Cloud pictures sound amazing, feel free to share them if you'd like! ☁️
@exuberantBlackberry9105 You're welcome <3 I'll do share if I capture something that does justice to what my eyes see.
@BlueDarkAurora haha i love how you said that. i can certainly agree that cameras rarely capture what our eyes do. sometimes they don't capture it well enough, other times they capture something entirely different from what it really is. i know this is especially try when it comes to sky pics. i hope you're able to take some satisfactory ones soon. ❤️

Those pictures are lovely! I personally like taking pictures of birds as birding/bird-watching is a recently acquired hobby of mine (that I love!) My pictures aren't great, but I don't mind sharing some of them.

@ConureConnor thank you! 💙
taking pictures of birds sounds amazing! i think bird watching might be a really nice hobby, i'm glad you love it. i feel photographing birds can be quite hard because they fly away easily, especially if you try to get closer. 🐦
your pictures are quite nice, in my opinion. trust me, on some rare occasions that i've tried taking pics of birds, they've turned out terrible. yours are really good. ah, the classic bird on the electricity/telephone wires! i love them. ❤️
thank you so much for sharing! wishing you all the best with your recently acquired hobby hehe. 💙
@exuberantBlackberry9105 theese are beautiful 😍 I've never seen a flower with black leaves before, and those red flowers are just stunning, the shades of green in the first picture are amazing, you really got an eye for photography😍😍 you got a great eye for photography ❤ I'd love to see your sky photos one day if you want to share of course ❤ ❤
@Tinywhisper11 aww thank you so much. ah, the shades of green and the red flowers, thank you. ❤️
hehe i've never seen a flower with black leaves either. i think you're talking about the second photo, and i know it looks really dark in the picture, but it's actually purple, with a little bit of greenish tint in some parts, that's not visible in the pic. 💜
sure, if you'd like to see some sky pics, here you go! ✨️

i hope you like them haha ❤️
@exuberantBlackberry9105 😍😍 thankyou, they are beautiful. To me I like to think as the sky is a blank canvas that God paints, with every colour imaginable, and he constantly changed it so we know he's there ❤❤ I love the sky ❤
oh it's a purple stem ❤ well that's even better, I never knew purple stems exsisted either. Photos allow me to see the world through others eyes, I love looking at peoples photos ❤❤
@Tinywhisper11 i'm glad you like them. aww that's a really interesting way of thinking about the sky. thank you for sharing. ❤️
haha, now you know, purple steps do exist. i totally agree - with photos you can see wonderful things without actually having to go anywhere. and thanks to the internet lol. 💜

They are all so so gorgeous and full of beauty and life!
You captured the essence of each plant so so wellll♡
They all look so vibrant and alive and its just purely stunning and amazing to get to see!
Thanks for sharing! You have a good eye for plants, and it's always nice to see how the same species can look so different depending on the light and season. Looking forward to seeing more of your photos.
@exuberantBlackberry9105 these are lovely! Thanks you for deciding to share them. I always enjoy seeing photos people have taken themselves because you notice little details that are easy to miss otherwise. Every now and then I end up with a bulb plant I can't identify from a photo, so I've started checking them with https://botanapp.com/identifier/bulbs before asking around. Looking forward to seeing more of your pictures if you decide to post them.
