That photo was thought-provoking, having all of those hobbies sounds like a simple recipe for a step towards optimal life!
@GrumpyTurtle
I love playing chess! What is your favorite hobby?
@TheToastGod Gardening and Calligraphy
I'm really into board games! I love them so much! I can literally play them for hours. And I really love LEGO as well!
Not sure how many boxes this ticks, but boxing/gym, yoga, hiking, studying (psychology/self-help/religion), teaching and community work, dog walking and caring for animals.
@Sasher Do you love Martial arts ?
@GrumpyTurtle I have more than enough pastimes for staying creative...a look at my hobby journal will confirm that. I do not have one for physical fitness, though I would like one. It's hard to work out or do anything strenuous when you have chronic conditions like mine.
Many years ago, I did a little martial arts here & there...wish I could do it now. Something with real-world usefulness, like Muay Thai...though I do like escrima/kali.
Not too many hobbies make money. Anything you do to make money, you can't treat as a hobby because it will probably require a lot of focus, time & sustained effort regardless of whether you feel like doing it or not.
@GrumpyTurtle
I'm not saying i follow this everyday but i like to do these things... Or at least i do it once in few months. These are just few of my hobbies that I'm categorizing.
One to make you money: Coding
One to keep you in shape: Dancing and yoga
One to stay creative: Sketching
One to build knowledge: Asking more question when I encounter new stuffs
One to grow your mindset: focuses on listening to multiple perspective about same matter without judgement
@GrumpyTurtle
1. EDM Production (but it does not make me money)
2. Working out at the gym, table tennis
3. Playing the piano/keyboard, EDM production
4. Google addiction, typing in random things in Google to gather knowledge
5. Once again: Google addiction, reading up on things via the internet and hanging out with strangers, chatting, etc.
I love football
