Grim's Flower Press
So, friends... I kinda love gardening and collecting plants, and finding out as much as I can about them. Now, a couple of days ago, I came across this method of pressing flowers using a clothes iron. And then lo... I saw some yellow Wedelia's growing and decided to experiment. I got some parchment paper, and then put the paper between sheets of newspapers and then ran my Iron over it. Pretty soon, they were flat and almost crispy 😁 I put them on a white sheet of paper, and it looked cute (despite the fact that they were big and a bit tough to flatten). So here's the results:
Does anyone else dry/press flowers? If yes, I'd love to see your art and hear about your methods.

@GrimSox I do, I love snowdrops, and really any big pink flower lol
@CocoaCassie damn, snowdrops are really unique looking. They're cold plants but, I wish I had them here. My mum would love those, basically any white flower. Just like you do with pink I guess haha. I'm thinking of Pink Dahlias 😃

Oh my gosh, I love this idea and I had just purchased beautiful lockets for some family members that have pressed dried flowers. We have some tiny daisies where I live so I will definitely try this. My mom used to press flowers and make cards that she would write in and send for special occasions, so it reminds me of her—good memories.

Do you make any Christmas cards with pressed flowers in them? That would be cool. Please share any tips if you do.
