Although dogs and cats are two of the most common pets, there are quite a few who prefer the companionship of birds, reptiles, fish, or rats.
🐌There is an endless amount of benefits pets can provide us, as well as their unconditional love.

what I love most about them is that they love to snuggle on my lap. It's so soothing to pet them then.

I have 2 black cats name Yuri and Yuki
What I love about them is that they are some the best cuddle buddies but also little trouble makers sometimes. I still love my fur babies <3

Cuddle buddies and trouble makers are the best combo, because we can never be mad at them for long when they're so cute 🥺 plus, I find the mischief entertaining
I always wanted a cat but my parents never wanted one. I managed to convince them and soon I'm finally gonna have one!!!! I'm just so happy!!

I have one dog, a Chihuahua, who is still a puppy, but is bigger than the picture below at this point. I need to get new pictures of her onto the computer still. She is as feisty as they get! But she is very loving too, and has become a great constant companion. Everywhere I go, she goes ^.^

Our family has a spur-thighed tortoise named Hamsa. I used to have some minnows, unfortunately they died :( Some future pet ideas I had were a corn/milk snake, an axolotl, a rabbit, or a cat (not all at once obvs haha)

Hamsa's really cute. Seriously adorable. Especially his eyes. But be careful he does bite!

That must be why my cat and I had extra cuddle time yesterday!
My cat is something of a demanding purrincess. She is very fond of being pet by anyone and everyone. I find while most cats only like when you pet them in a head to tail direction, my cat likes more back and forth pets. She even likes to demand to go in the hall and say hello to the neighbors so that they can give her pets as well.
I guess what I love most about her is the mostly unconditional love. When I'm late with breakfast she may not love me quite so unconditionally right? 😹

Haha, you both must have subconsciously known, I'm glad there was extra cuddles! And she 100% deserves to be a purrincess and demand all the attention. And maybe a late breakfast could lose you points, but I think it's easily forgiven 😆

I have a cat named Dragon. I love him because he's sweet and cuddly and he seems to know I'm sick all the time and likes to comfort me, and he's so funny. We also have a dog named Leo. He's very protective and loving.

Dragon is an excellent name for a cat! Both dragon and Leo sound great, and cats and dogs can both tell when you're unwell or feeling sad and often offer comfort when they sense this 🐶🐱
@SleepyShyCat I know, Dragon and Leo fit them perfectly! Dragon is black and looks like Toothless, plus I love the original Power Rangers (the Green Ranger controls the Dragon Zord and has a Dragon Dagger), so it was perfect for him. He was Squeak when we got him but I renamed him. He was 2.5 when I got him. He just turned 4. Leo was born on August 2, and has a lot of the traits for his zodiac sign. We kept his original name. He's 10 and we've had him since he was 6 months old.
They totally pick up on our health issues. Smart animals! Much more empathy than most people too it seems like.
