Questions I’d like you to answer in the thread.

Whats one way you communicate?

When you just meet someone how do you start the conversation?

How do you feel in the moment?

Effective communication is the process of exchanging ideas, opinions, knowledge, data, and thoughts. Communication is how we share ideas, feelings and information with others. Good communication helps in relationships, at work, and in daily life. Communication can happen through words, expressions, or even gestures. The definition of communication skills is, the ability for an individual to accurately convey a message to another person or a group of people. The importance of communication can be varied between people.

If you look at this text, “I’m having a horrible migraine and I can’t sleep.” One person would think, “Okay, they have a horrible migraine and they can’t sleep.” Another person would think, “Okay, they might be stressed out and need a break.” That’s just some of the ways things can be broken down, or understood. Not everyone reads into the information that you share. Even I have a tough time communicating. Sometimes I catch myself off guard. I am not always the best communication but I am me. We are all human, we deserve grace. So when you think about it, communication isn’t always hard. Sometimes you’d prefer to communicate a certain way. Sometimes I like writing, some times I communicate with my expression. Sometimes, I don’t like using verbal ways at all. That’s perfectly okay. Not everyone thinks the same way. Sometimes people retain information differently. Thank you for reading, have a wonderful day!

I agree with your point that not everyone communicates in the same way. Sometimes, I feel like that's something people need to keep in mind. For example, just because someone doesn't like communicating in a certain way or in the same way as you doesn't mean they're a bad communicator.

Verbal communication is not my best way of communicating in my opinion. When someone I'm close to feels sad, for example, I like to communicate my support towards them in more indirect ways, so I'm not just showering words like "it's ok" in their face because sometimes I feel like that's not the most effective way to help. Instead, I might sit with them quietly, or just check in with them throughout the day.

When I just meet someone, I don't like to go all up in their face and keep initiating conversation and get to know them as quickly as possible, because that's not my style. I have no problem spending more time getting to know them. My top priority is to make sure that we're getting to know each other at a comfortable pace for us both and communicating in a way that we both enjoy.

And for how do you feel in the moment, do you just mean in general how I feel now? If so I'm mostly ok :) haha

Thank you for your wonderful points! I think it’s absolutely important to read the person before making assumptions or speaking. Let them talk when they’re ready. Yes I mean how are you now :) thank you for your comment!

What's one way you communicate? Body language

When you just meet someone, how do you start the conversation? Hi Sir/Madam,

How do you feel in the moment? Shy, timid, maybe a little scared, uncertain what to say

@youcandothis0012

I tend to communicate openly with people, making sure that my body language is open. I often start a conversation with someone with a "hello, how are you?" Or "how is your day going today?"

I tend to adapt my style depending on who I'm communicating with, to ensure that I'm friendly but also respectful with the person I'm talking to.
