Integrity in everything we do.
Integrity is a big word, and through the course of reading through the path I've felt it important to write somthing about this, as it's a core value that we should all hold.
It goes hand in hand with honesty, they are both integral to living, you have to learn to be honest with yourself, this isn't by putting yourself down, but by acknowledge of things that could have been done differently.
So what does Integrity mean to you? And how do you apply it to your daily life?
For me Integrity came as part of my work originally, it was a core fundamental of my job, but I had seen that it was treated as just another corporate word that people didn't really understand. When I made it part of my personal mission and goals to always act with Integrity everything for me changed.
I apply it now as part of my core foundation it means that I always follow these steps:
Be honest in everything I do, both with myself and with others. Tell people the truth of things.
Own your mistakes, they are yours, these mistakes make up a huge part of who you are, learn from them and grow from them.
Don't lie or hide the truth, make it part of your story, be true to your self in actions and reflections, could you have done somthing differently?
Practice self control, spend time learning how to manage you! Through different techniques you are able to manage your emotions or anxiety and anger.
Set your own personal values! Have a personal mission statement that you can use to define what you want to achive in life.
Have you ever had your Integrity questioned? Maybe at work or in your personal life? How did you feel?
Remember the core of the integrity test! As by applying these pillars to yourself and your life you will always be able to act with the best integrity.

@Always25 practising self control is such a huge part of integrity. I once heard self-regulation defined as "your internal governor, and that if you're triggered by everything, then you become incredibly easy to manipulate" (it may have been Evie Pompouras who said it) but anyway it gave me a different take on it.
@Always25 Thank you so much for sharing this. I really resonated with the part where you said, “You have to learn to be honest with yourself… not by putting yourself down, but by acknowledging things that could have been done differently.” That hit home for me.
For a long time, I thought integrity was just about doing the right thing in front of others. But over time, I realized that real integrity is about who you are when no one is watching. It’s those quiet decisions you make—choosing not to take the shortcut, admitting when you’re wrong, and honoring your own values even when it’s inconvenient.
@Always25 great post, integrity to me is maintaining honesty and always operating from a point that stands true to my core values.
@Always25
integrity is a great virtue to have, and a great characteristic trait to have as well! excellent post!
