@Holmes33 the values that i inculcated at a young age became the pillars or i would say the anchors in my life. There were several times when i felt that the inner compass had protected me from doing something when had no meaning in my life or didnt serve a purpose

@Holmes33

  • How do you define your inner compass, and what values guide your actions in your daily life?

I define inner compass as those internal things that guide me as a human being in the world. Some of the things that I believe exist within that inner compass include such things as morals, beliefs, desires, needs, and passions.

@Holmes33 I think self-awareness really shaped my decision to study Psychology. I was aware that I really enjoyed helping people and also understanding them better. I knew that Psychology was a good place to explore and engage with both of these things. I was also aware that I had enjoyed learning things about the subject. Being able to keep them in mind, I was able to choose to study Psychology.
