Appreciation
I used to think appreciation just meant saying thank you, but now I know it's much more than that. Appreciation is noticing the things we normally take for granted. This could be a friend checking in on us or having the opportunity to learn something new. I realized that we need to LOOK for things to appreciate to find it. There are so many things we take for granted but if we truly stop for a moment and take a look at our lives, there are so many things we need to appreciate. Whens the last time you appreciated having a bathroom? Appreciation stems from intention not signals. If you feel obliged to show your appreciation, you are not truly appreciative.
Whats something you didn't appreciate until you lost it?

I think it's important to appreciate all we have 🥰
I took walking for granted until I had to relearn it
Afterwards I realised it's important fault to write a list I'm greatful for 💛

I didn't fully appreciate good mental health until I went through a difficult period. It taught me that inner peace is something truly valuable. Now I try to appreciate the little moments of calm more. ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )
@goldenFlamingo9717 What a wonderful question. Honestly, my health- because I was young- I didn't think of the impact my actions had on my body, and now I am paying the price for it. But I am incredibly appreciative because it isn't too late for me to have a healthy life; it just requires modification.

@goldenFlamingo9717 I really like this. Appreciation becomes much more meaningful when we consciously notice the ordinary things we usually overlook. It’s amazing how much our perspective can change when we actually stop and look around.
