I love the power of music. Just one of the ways that I see the power in it is that through the lyrics of some songs, It tells me I am not alone in my feelings. Somewhere, somehow, someone out there has felt this very same way before and I know it's so, as they wouldn't have written the song if they hadn't.
I can certainly see why this would be one of your favorite songs at the moment even irrespective of the lyrics. Vocals, musicality, soooooooooo awesome! Thank you for your gift of music to me today! I will listen to this a few more times today and with that, I will be putting some past feelings, past hurts away and for good! This for me has been a process/thoughts that I have been going through for a couple of weeks now anyway and so ... this song is the icing on the cake for me! It's a beautiful song. I love the lyrics. I love the dichotomy of how the lyrics are so incredibly sweet, music can be slow at moments, but then the music gets to bangin', like all in, gritty and loud. For me, it's all in there, the sweet meaning with the lyrics and then showing some serious emotion in the musicality also. It seems as if the artist is getting it all out and in many different ways. Sweetness with the lyrics and maybe expression of even frustration and longing with the music. Again, thank you! This is will now be my "ear worm" today! *high fives* 😊 and big *hugs* ❤️
