TL:DR What kinda [edited by forum mentor Jenna for inappropriate language] goes around a whole neighbourhood of apartment buildings looking for ONE NAME, just so they can grasp at straws totally blindly, hoping that this person is "the one person they're looking for" and then send them a bloody CHRISTMAS CARD with a quote from the bible!
Long Version: My mother (whom I have not spoken to in WELL over a year) and I ended up in the same grocery store at the same time some weeks ago. Just today I got a Christmas card with her handwriting both on the envelope and the card itself, a quote from Psalm 119:30. The only English translations I can find of that basically talk about being devoted to god (Ex. I'm sorry to hear that your mother has found you after not wanting that, and sending you something that has really upset you with what she wrote. It can be hard, especially around the holidays, having to face someone you're not comfortable with. How are you coping with the emotions about this situation, and do you have any options dealing with her knowing where you live?

I'm NOT coping. I've survived through today with sedatives and my emotions are varying between "full panic-mode" to angry and resentful, like I can't even believe someone can be this evil and vindictive.
I've got nothing I can do for atleast another year, as I just signed a new lease to this place and I'm broke. The one good thing is that I still have a psychiatric treatment contact, so there's that.

Shoot, I only now noticed the edits from moderator. Sorry for the language, I can have a pretty nasty "mouth" when I'm on a bad mood.
Update to this: my mother sent me a "valentines day card" with her usual manipulation and things and I'm just done. I don't care. It's come to the point where I'm wondering if I could get a "restraining order" from the police based on all of this (probably not), but in general all her letters and cards are gonna go straight in the trash.
So yeah.
