The title explains itself.
If you're interested in the ramblings of a middle-aged man with chronic conditions who, at times, sees things a little too clearly for his own good, then read on.
Sometimes I get political, but it won't be all the time.
I don't mind comments in general but if you're going to differ with what I write, that's fine--as long as you can explain your position clearly & reasonably. Rants, shouting & general incoherence will be ignored or flagged, depending on the situation. Try to remember that not everyone else in this world holds your beliefs.
Every so often I may post art or snapshots of projects I'm working on.
If you're still interested after reading all the above, great. (I do wonder at how much time you have on your hands, though)
Today has been a fairly productive day...however, it's also been a flareup day. Thus my staying inside my truck, while parked behind the Wawa in town--the 2nd place I've parked for this purpose today so far.
I'll get back to my land whenever...sometime tonight, most likely...
Eat, sleep, s**t, p*ss, work on stuff, work on stuff, rinse & repeat... Lately it seems like that's all there is to life.
Yet we're all supposed to be grateful for being born, & given such a life. We're supposed to enjoy it & cling to it.
It's cold & wet outside...feeling tired & lazy today.
Also - am tired of Cups announcement spam popping up in my "inbox" here. Is there any way to shut it off, or do all members get it with no choice?

Hamas has reached a ceasefire agreement with Israel...the remaining hostages are being freed & returning home to their families. Those who are dead are being returned for proper burials.
Good news, for once.

If this society had any decency, commercials & ads would be strictly regulated...there would be parts of public life where you wouldn't have to see/hear someone trying to sell you something.

@slowdecline48 Ikr… I hate it. They try to sell you even after youve already bought their stuff. Like wttf “premium plan” (excuse my French)… If you’ve purchased a product or service, you should get the full experience - the full basic experience .. yes you can ask customers to pay extra for the luxury. But Im not buying sthg just so they can sell me an extra “premium” level. Again Im not saying I expect concierge service when I buy potatoes but if I download... a to do list app for eg, I shouldnt be asked to pay extra just to tick off completed tasks... that’s the basic function of a to do list. My friend told me you cant even play songs in the order you want on Spotify anymore… like seriously what is that?

A new bit of doggerel.
Yesterday I got quite a bit done on my land in the early afternoon, but then had trouble with the side plate after that... I let my guy (he's helped me greatly for the past few days) work on it for a bit. Chainsaws can be finicky machines, even well-made ones. We figured out that the brake spring is crooked...personally I don't see why the spring is as stiff as it is, but that's just me. The upshot is I ordered a spare one & a couple other parts, for when the ones in the engine wear out.
They'll get here when they get here.

@slowdecline48 thank you! That is very thoughtful of you to tag me. At the moment our chainsaw is sitting in a puddle of oil, on the grass, overshadowed by the tall hedge whose twigs are now grown into branches.
@MistyMagic How long has it been sitting there? Also what kind of saw is it...as in "the make & model".
