the oak tree of serenity (a diary space)
Hello everyone. My name is OakSerenity, but also feel free to call me just Oak or OS for short! 😊
I wanted to create a diary thread here where I can freely share and express almost anything about my life, including my growth (in any form of experience that I may share), my happiness, things that I have learned, as well as the obstacles and challenges that I may have already experienced and that I will continue to encounter throughout my journey, both in 7cups and my personal life.
I've been on this platform for quite awhile now, and I've been enjoying learning lots of new things and meeting different people here (even though we're all behind our virtual screens in the vast sea of the internet). So, I am truly grateful to have made it this far in life and share my experiences with you all, or to whoever is reading this thread 😆.
Anyway, kind, respectful and supportive comments are very much welcome! Hearts are welcome as well 💕. Trigger warnings (or TWs) will definitely be included whenever it needs to be labeled.
If you have read this, I hope this diary thread may inspire you in some way or another throughout the many oceans and galaxies in space.
💙 OakSerenity
Here are my previous entries I have made prior to this thread!

Glad to be back here again. (July 3, 2023)
"The tallest oak in the forest was once just a little nut that held its ground."

I was able to host my very first pop up discussion yesterday! I was nervous but also excited because I thought the topic would be great to bring people together and get to know each other. Hopefully I can try hosting more. I am very glad I took up on that opportunity. 😊
I like to share one of the image quotes my therapist has sent me during my recovery journey 😊 Maybe I might share more on this thread as I continue to progress.

Not everyone likes me, and that's okay. I'm not here to please everyone, and everyone has their own issues to deal with. I'm only here to help support and continue to learn throughout this community. I will continue to use these experiences to reflect on my journey and how I can give my own contributions to help make this place better for many others who truly need support.
