Week One: Chapter 1 & 2
Hi everyone! I hope you are well. Week 1 of our community building course has started! Please read this post for more information. For week one, please read and thoroughly understand the following document consisting of chapter 1 and chapter 2 summary of the get together book.
Ask yourself the following questions to ensure understanding:
What is the main message of each chapter?
How does each chapter apply to 7 Cups?
How can YOU help with the aim of each chapter?
Once you have read and understood please take the following quiz. The quiz consists of a variety of questions including essay questions that test your comprehension. In order to move forward to the next week and eventually receive your certificate, you need at least a score of 8/10. If you get a less score, dont worry you can submit again.
Don't forget to complete the next course!

@Hope
I just completed the quiz, both the chapters were helpful and seemed essentials for starting a community and how to sustain it.
Thank you!
@Hope
Just submitted the quiz! 10/10! Really enjoyed reading Chapters 1 & 2. Although, I do wish I had started earlier, I had assumed they were going to be massively long, but I've actually found them quite readable. Good bedtime reading! 😊
@Hope I passed this one with flying colors, I absolutely loved this course. This not only validated my emotions being a chatroom moderator, but a forum poster as well <3
Thank you for this!
@InsightfulPhoenix
Thank you for all your help in the chat rooms!
@Hope
Woo hoo! 9/10!
@Hope
The main message of chapter 1 is essentially how to target your audience in hopes of building your community. Chapter 2 focuses on building a strong community. The main message of each chapter can be applied to 7cups I guess in the way you take member requests/personal requests. It's important to recognize who you can and cannot support,so it's better to help people that you can relate to/have shared experiences with rather than someone you have trouble communicating with for whatever reason(s).
@Hope
I really enjoyed these chapters, they were really interesting. Thanks 🤗
These chapters were fun and enlightening to read! I learned a lot about how to strengthen community and make it sustainable! :)
