Is this insensitive towards my aroace friends?

Hi so I'm going to a birthday party soon where every guest has to prepare a power point presentation about any random funny topic. Now, I had an idea to make one about which tarot cards would make great dating partners and I want all of the guests to pull a card and I will tell everyone what that card would be like if they would date them.

My issue is that two of my friends are asexual (not outed to everyone though, as far as I know). And now I wonder if a presentation that is so dating-focused would be in any way insensitive or maybe be annoying for those friends, especially because they also pull a card? I know I'm probably overthinking this and as a lesbian I wouldn't mind anyone else doing a similar thing where it would be implied I was to date a man, but I just want to make sure not to make anyone uncomfortable. Sooo if you're aro/ace, would this bother you?

I can't speak for anyone else!

But I don't think a game like this would cause any offence, but perhaps they might feel pressured to answer questions regarding their sexuality, that they are not prepared for 💚

I don't know that it's offensive, per se, but I think this could be insensitive. I don't think the idea is insensitive, just that certain individuals might feel put on the spot, and that could cause anxiety. Personally, I might feel like I'm being forced to participate in an activity that wasn't meant for me. That said, I am a person who seems to be transitioning away from my Aro/Ace identity, so take that for what it's worth.

If I can, I'd love to offer a bit of feedback because I think this is a really cute idea! Maybe instead of having the audience members choose a card, you could pick out the "most dateable" tarot cards. Maybe you could even pick them beforehand and make a cute little slide for each one!

Final thought: thank you so much for asking this! I think it's really helpful to keep others in mind, and I appreciate you trying to make everyone feel comfortable!

For bonus points, you might include a card or two who also identify as Aro and/or Ace (my vote is King of Pentacles, or maybe 2 of Swords). You could try working that in to help those who identify that way feel included!

Hey, I'm ace (but not aro) and here's my two cents!

You're a super thoughtful friend to even ask this! This sounds like a really fun and creative idea, and I would be fine with participating in something like this as long as there isn't too much focus on the sex aspect for the card that gets pulled for me.

Disclaimer: My personal boundary is that sex jokes are fine and can be funny as long as they aren't specifically about me/at my expense, but everyone is different. As long as we're not talking about like... The Hierophant pleasing me, JackalopesExist, in bed or something then anything else would be fair game. If you're not sure of their exact boundaries, then err on the side of SFW jokes and comments about romance and being a general good friend/partner.
