Being a closeted transgender is tough
The dysphoria, the anxiety, the current depression, it all sucks. But it’s worth it for those little moments of euphoria, like when you try on makeup or a skirt or something. But when I go to school I have to switch my personality and poise completely. I just wish I could press that metaphorical button that seamlessly transitions you.

Im sorry that you are struggling and cannot just be you.
I'm glad that you get times of euphoria and relief and happiness.
You are not alone here 🥰

im transmasc and my parents don’t support. I’m only out to my friends, but my parents are extremely conservative. I’m not allowed to dress how I want, cut my hair how I want—whenever I want to dye my hair, my mom buys the dyes that come out the quickest. And so I look like a girl. You wouldn’t know I was trans unless I told you. And honestly, I’m lonely as ***. I just want a boyfriend. Is that too much to ask? But I’m too gay for the straights, and not masc enough for the gays. It’s just a never ending cycle of hearing how I’m not what someone’s looking for. It’s a never ending cycle of being stuck in a body that wasn’t built for my mind. It’s a never ending cycle of staying awake at night and wishing I was someone’s someone.

Those moments of ✨gender euphoria✨ -- hold onto them tight! carry it with you!
I'm glad you know what that feels like, what feels like really YOU, and how to get there (even if it's by yourself). I also hear you on wanting to skip that transition phase to get to the end result of that euphoria being fully-all-the-time you. It takes a minute to get there, and it can be hard (patience, continual experiences of dysphoria, and money) but you aren't alone doing it. You get to do it however you want/need to. 🌈
