With LGBTQ+/MOGII rights being 'attacked/repealed', more & more - what, if anything, are you doing to address this? If nothing, why not?
As an 'elder' LGBTQ person, who has been involved with LGBTQ+ community for over 30 years, experiencing/witnessing atrocities, participating in 'human rights' inclusion. However, in very recent years, there seems to be a 'back lash/ attack/ repealing' of hard-fought earned rights.
I am interested what the forum has to contribute, considering LGBTQ+/MOGII 'rights' may be/or already have been taken away.
How are you coping?
@WalkingSoftly
hey there! I find it incredibly hard to cope with this myself watching news of steps backward rather than forward makes me lose hope for a better future and fair rights in any near future sometimes
but i think it’s important to stick together as a community, give each other love, support, understanding and help in whatever form possible
and to not give up fighting for and believing in equal rights
We have seen before that fighting and being persistent works, it will survive another backlash ^^
@Listeningsarinn
Yes, these are very uncertain times for the lgbtq/mogii community. And yes, we need to stick together, regardless of differences within the community & countries. "Together We Stand - Divided, We Fall".
I hope you have good support to help through all of this. Please take care & stay safe.
@WalkingSoftly
i totally love that quote! And it is so true as well
Same for you💜
