I don't know if i am bi or not, is that okay?

For a long time I've been questioning myself if i am Bi or something else, in the past months I've seen myself looking at both males and females, which supposed to be good right? Not really, you see, sometimes at night, when i can't sleep i always think what would happen if i choose to be with a woman or a man, my mind goes through a lot of scenarios which i picture myself with some of the both genders, sometimes i just feel like I don't like girls and i like more boys, it goes for months, then my mind clicks and says "no girl, you don't like boys that much, hit the women side" and this goes in loop every time, im very confused and i don't know what to do, i need your opinions, and is this normal? (Sorry if there are some errors or anything in my grammar, English isn't my first language)

This is normal.

It's ok to not know.

To explore.

And take your time.

You'll know what feels right and comfortable when the time comes, there's never no rush 💛

Hey @faithfulTortoise7052

It is completely normal to question yourself about this, especially if you feel like exploring feelings you've never felt before. Also, romantic and/or sexual orientations can vary a lot over time and as your understanding of yourself evolves. You have all the time in the world to find what makes you comfortable and how you want to present yourself, sometimes a label feels more comfortable and sometimes you don't need to put a name on it. As long as it feels like who you are, it's the right choice.

As for questioning if you are bisexual or not, I'd suggest making researches on your own depending on what you feel you attraction is directed to. The LGBTQUIA+ Wiki is a platform that helped me a lot for example, but feel free to explore whatever ressource feels best for you!

It is perfectly okay to not know who you are as a person. It can take time to discover yourself but that is the beauty of life, being able to find what you love and don't. I hope you enjoy the freedom of discovering yourself today.  1WiHabGZ.gif

@faithfulTortoise7052 totally normal! Bisexuality is not necessarily a 50-50 thing, there are as many ways to be bisexual as there are bisexuals. Some don't have a preference, others do, for some their levels of attraction stay the same throughout life, for other it fluctuates. It can be confusing at times, but it's all about getting used to it and accepting the fact that there's nothing wrong with it.

If you're worried about what it could mean for a potential relationships, that's also different for everyone! For some people, developing a romantic connection means you always stay attracted to that person no matter what. Others might still experience these "fluctuations", but sexual drive and attraction can always change in a relationship, for many reasons that can be totally independent from your orientation.

I'd just say: figure things out as you go, your way to be bisexual may be not the same as other people, but it doesn't mean it's strange or less valid!

@faithfulTortoise7052 I'm bisexual and like you my feelings/desires wants and needs fluctuate depending on how im feeling and whats going on in my life. Its ok to question your feelings, its ok to change how you feel at given times in your life. I guess everyone will go through this whatever their sexuality is. I think its personal growth development and part of life. We are human beings frail and complex nothing is set in stone. The trick is to be happy in yourself and dont over worry. Trust your feelings  you will always know whats right for you.
