Should I come out?

I've been semi out as a bisexual for almost a year. Just immediate family and close friends.

I spend most of my day taking to my band friends who don't know. ( orchestra band not rock band)

I feel horrible keeping this side of me a secret and I hate lying, but I'm not so sure they would accept me.

It's a religious group, and I'm not Christan, and some of them have said things thay are border line homophobic.

The only one I'm sure wouldn't hate me is my straight female crush so I don't wanna start with her.

They have barely began to accept the fact that I'm emo.

There is one kid who jokingly called himself and I gay and well I could tell him but I'm not so sure he wouldn't out me to his crush/future girlfriend when she's allowed ro date. She's the girl I have a crush on.

I'm really conflicted and would like some advice:)

I think for your mental health, it's best to be open, but use discernment about who you are open with. If it could possibly do more harm than good with like the borderline homophobic people, keep it to yourself in that crowd. Just start with the people you feel safe telling. I'm 57 years old, and it took me until last year to say anything to anyone! That's very isolating, and helps depression, not one bit! Be open when you feel safe. Not everyone will accept your sexuality, but if they don't, you know they weren't your friends anyhow.
