need some advice
Hey yall,
So over the past few weeks(like 6 I think....) I've been really thinking of how I identify in regards to gender. I'm in my late teens and have gone through some periods where I identified as many different things, though the only one that felt right was identifying as genderfluid(in the terms that I identify as both male and female but also sometimes neither.... I'm not sure)
Now I've been thinking more about it recently and thought I'd bring it up to my current boyfriend who I adore and thought would be very supportive... though, when I brought it up to him he mentioned how I "wasnt a guy" and he got all quiet when I mentioned it.
So I'm not really sure how to feel now...
I constantly feel like I'm falling out of the gender stereotypes but I like to feel both masculine, feminine, and none at all at different times.
I don't know how to bring this up to my boyfriend again and I'm worried he won't like me as much if I tell him how I feel. Though, I'm still trying to figure out what I really identify as lol
If this sounds normal or something please let me know because tbh... I feel like I'm going crazy lol(this is just how I feel, not to invalidate anyone else) and I feel like all the articles and research I've done don't give me real answers
so please, if yall have any advice, feel free to reach out lol I sure as heck need it lol
yall have a good night

ok so basically I just went for it and texted him saying
"hey, is it weird if I think I'm like genderfluid?"
so I guess that gives him room to tell me how he feels about it 🤷
I'll try and let yall know if he replies =]

its admirable of you to be so young and exploratory in your journey. If you believe you want to identify a certain way, then so be it. You can NOT let anyone tell you how to identify. That is your own soul and body that will carry that. Not someone else. If your boyfriend truly loves you, they will accept you in any way you decide to live your life. If you want to be non binary or trans or even just a very masculine female , go for it. That is your decision and only yours. Being part of the LGBTQIA+ community means you are accepted for who you are and there are no norms. Be fluid as much as you need to be to fulfill YOUR TRUTH, because at the end of the day, YOU MATTER, and your identity is VALID! <3 -Sunny
