For me it's not being prone to mood shifts.
Every day I wake up with basically the same mindset. What is black is black. What is white is white. What is somewhere in the middle is... somewhere in the middle.
Of course, I can change my opinions slightly, modify my points of view and see more detail, but it's never "I love strawberries on Monday, and I hate strawberries on Tuesday" sort of thing.
P.S. Hey, Keira... Are you OK? I see you started 18 new threads in 35 minutes and I am worried about you... 😕
@jacek73 Lol, I'm not even a man so I don't know why I'm reading this thread. Don't mind me, I'm just being nosey. I'm not even going to lie-- I got a kick reading what you wrote about mood shifts. Lol. I'm not sure if I'm as fickle as I am because of my mental issues or simply because I'm a woman. I'm just going to blame it on being a woman. 🤣😂 It's funny because I do love strawberries with cool whip some days but other days I am not a fan. Then too, even if I like to eat strawberries... I actually don't like most strawberry flavored drinks or treats. Lol.

I don't believe there aren't so many men here, talking about how good it is to be a man nowadays (so, maybe it's not? 😉).
Another thing is also connected with physiology: when the nature calls men find it easier, while at the same time admiring the sky full of stars and the moon, without being bitten by mosquitoes 😳
i The best thing about being a male really depends on perspective, culture and personal value but for me is the struggles, ups and downs, from the day you are born. You work hard to build your own life and raise a family. And when you succeed, there is no greater joy than seeing your wife and children run to you, calling you ‘Dad.’ Being able to provide for them and give them the best life they could ever dream of—that is one of the greatest blessings of being a man. Coming to more serious things... What is the definition of being a man nowadays?
Being the one who provides? Some people may find it somewhere between old-fashioned and offensive.
Being a leader? That can be really regarded as offensive now.
Being the one who protects the weaker and the innocent ones? Do they still need it?
It looks like not only men cannot find their place in this world now, but also the world has neither a place nor a voice for them.
So, I am not surprised many men have chosen to stay away to just check what is coming...
One of the best things of being a man is having many hobbies. Oftentimes when I ask a woman about her hobby or passion they just shrug. And when you ask some men about their hobbies, you are done for at least an hour 😉
Another thing is the feeling of the "other one" behind your back. The ability to see yourself (mentally, not only physically) both from the inside and from the outside. I imagine that most women can't do the trick.
And the accompanying consciousness that this "other one" usually goes easy on you, despite clearly seeing your mistakes or shortcomings—because in this world you can rarely meet any other allies...

Not having a period every month.
If not that, then: the ability to have sex without prior emotional attachment...if you like that sort of thing. While that is almost exclusively a male ability, not every man wants to bang without any intimacy. In my case there's no need to be completely in love, but there should at least be some feeling between us.
The best thing about being a man is everything. Strength, honor, duty. The worst thing is being a man is frowned upon. If you show masculine traits its looked down upon. Those traits however built this world. Grit, determination, never seeing failure as an option. It might not succeed at first, but you get up one more time every time.
