Very Important Question
@faithfulCoconut848
You will probably get varing opinions on this.
My opinion is from real foods. Powder to me is considered a supplement and use it on days you feel that your not getting enough trough your diet.
I supplement with power once or twice a week, the other days I eat plenty of fish or chicken. I am not much of a red meat eater.
@faithfulCoconut848 getting real food is always preferred, BUT there is absolute nothing wrong with adding a protein powder to your diet as an add on to your Whole Foods nutrition. Just read the labels as 70%of powder can be just mostly sugar content like maltrodextrin. Just learn to read labels.
Real food. The problem is that protein powders are "supplements" (note the quotes)...with whole foods you can be reasonably sure about what you're getting. Nutritional supplements are not regulated--the FDA rarely even issues a statement about them, let alone enforces any rules--so you never know for sure if what's on the label of the product you bought, is actually in it. Supplements are notorious for not containing ingredients listed on their labels.
