raininglilllies, it's tough what people with mental illness have to go through in addition to deal with their own illness just because of being different, misunderstood and stigma.

If I could change one thing about mental illness, I would change how it is taught to future professionals such as therapists, pyschiatrists, social workers. As someone who has was a psychology and addiction counseling major college student I was amazed just how much mental health was stigmatized throughout my courses. It's no wonder there are so many people who say they can't find doctors and treatment that helps them. How is someone supposed to be able to if those very people are not properly taught and trained.
