***Kindness Jar***
Hi everyone and welcome to this wonderful creative activity of kindness. Do you know showing kindness to yourself is very important? When directing kindness first to yourself helps you feel full and empowered-along with high levels of self esteem. Then you can share the kindness with others. But for now-lets focus on YOU with this easy activity.
Things You Need:
** Jar or container you can see through
** Crayons, markers, things to decorate your jar with
** Small pieces of paper
Create your jar to reflect what you feel kindness is to you. Can be colors or words-anything. This is your jar/container that will help you be more kind to self. Next get your paper and cut into little squares. These you will use daily when you do something kind to yourself. Place your jar/container with your pile of square papers in a place you see daily. At the end of the week take them all out and sit and read them. Be mindful of how your feeling at all the acts of kindness you done for you!

@RumpleSteeleSkin Very Awesome Post !! This reminds me of the Prayer Box Necklaces also the Positivity Boards.. each day write something down and put them in the small prayer necklace box or something positive and go back and reread them..
I llove the positivity boards I have one that i write on with my dry erase markers and wipe it clean and write new things to read for a week .
@Tyedyedbutterfly65 That's a wonderful idea 💡 Will try that, n thanks
@jessie777 Awesome , I bought a dry erase board and decoated it with pink and white flowers with a hot glue gun and added some cool cupcake decotaions lol they are lipsticks and butterflies that they out on the top of cupcakes from the store I save those ... I bought really pretty dry erase markers that are bright and each thing I write I use different colors.. Makes me feel good to read what i write down .. and also fun to draw silly faces too or hearts along the sides or where ever..
@Tyedyedbutterfly65 Awwwww!!!! That's so cute!!!

@Tyedyedbutterfly65wonderful to see you here
Yeds when I was doing this activity I was thinking of my own prayer box necklace and all the positive things I've done for myself in the past. I think it is a great idea you have the wipe board there and just keep putting goodness up there for yourself. Keep up the great work in showing and seeing the kindness in yourself

@RumpleSteeleSkin Thank you and so cool you also have a Prayer box necklace !!! The papers are tiny right but so cool .
@RumpleSteeleSkin
This is such a lovely idea. I did this as a gift to one of my closest friends for her birthday with notes to uplift and motivate her whenever she felt sad or depressed. I am going to try this out asap!
@RumpleSteeleSkin
This is officially my favorite post of all! Thank you so much for making such a wonderful and insightful post. I will definitely try this everyday! Showing kindness to yourself even if it's small will keep reminding you of how important you are

Oh I am definitely going to make my Kindness Jar! Such a fun creative way to reflect back on yourself.
Rather than keep a jar, I like to keep sticky notes on my desk and I decorate the wall next to me with encouraging messages and compliments so I can read them when I get frustrated at work. It's something small I do which is private enough so it's just for me and easily visible enough so I don't necessarily need to stop working very long to get a pick-me-up.
@RumpleSteeleSkin Back in my school days my teacher once made us do this activity this was called Happiness Jar. I was very fun. And its something ive done for others. I guess its time ti do a kindness jar for myself.
