Mindfulness Daily Check-In for july 10th to July 12th 2026

Mindfulness can help those dealing with depression. You can train your brain into breaking through negative thoughts that spiral out of control and teach it how to see them and work through them using mindfulness.

Mindfulness teaches you how to express these thoughts and turn them into a positive state so you may go on enjoying life. Mindfulness is a process in working through even anxiety. You become aware of a situation non-judgmentally and turn a negative into a positive feeling.

Mindfulness can be done throughout the day, not just in the morning or evening times. If you're at work and become depressed, you can close your eyes, stop your jaw from tensing up, and work on releasing the feelings you are having.

It is known throughout the day that our minds wander away from the present state of mind. We are thinking of a deadline we must meet at work, handling family and children at home, and making sure you are okay. Your mind wanders like it is on autopilot, and we need to stop that from circling out of control.

Mindfulness is a skill and practice that is easy to do at any time of the day. Using mindfulness before bedtime helps you relax enough to fall asleep without worrying about things. Mindfulness teaches you to calm your racing heart and breathe, rather than letting it be out of control. and relaxing the parts of our bodies that tense up when we are anxious or depressed.

Mindfulness practices, especially connecting with the senses, greatly help me to return and stay in the present moment.

@pamharley003

I really enjoyed reading this. One thing I've been learning is that mindfulness doesn't always have to mean sitting down for a long meditation session. Sometimes it's as simple as noticing your breathing, feeling your feet on the ground, or paying attention to what's happening around you without judging it. As a listener, I've also noticed that many people feel pressure to "stop" anxious or depressive thoughts, but mindfulness has reminded me that it's okay to acknowledge those thoughts without letting them completely take over. Like any skill, it takes practice, but even small moments throughout the day can make a difference. 💜
