Daily Check - In for April 28th to April 30th 2025

When we ccelebrate an achievement we are ackowledging and recognizing success, whether it is big or small, motivation, progressand well - being. We celebrate in different ways, buying new clothes because we lost weight, bought something we always wanted but did not get it due to money etc.

When we reach this achievement it makes us happy and proud of ourselves. We even celbrate New Year's Eve as welcoming a new year to our lives. The ways we do this are out numbered in how we celebrate something.

Here are some ways to celebrate achievements :

I like best to share my achievements with someone.

However, I'm working on being more personally satisfied with my achievements eg being proud of myself. Or just taking a moment to acknowledge "I did it".

I have a list of "bests" or "Top for the year" for each year. When something notable happens or I reach/finish something notable or worth remembering, I add it to my list! My list has sections for things like "Things I'm proud of/Bragging rights" and "Top Smells", "Top Meals", and "People I Loved Seeing" to remember the year when I look back on it years later.

I have a calendar task monthly to update the Year list if anything notable happened in the prior month so I periodically check in with myself to see if I actually did something noteworthy.

Other than making an entry, I periodically review lists from years past to see what was important to me at the moment then.
